Test/deca

Had a nice leg day session planned. Got up to 315 on squats and was going to move into my working weight. (was going to do a 4x8 of 365) All of a sudden the inner part of my thigh was really tight and felt like it was going to cramp up, I tried to stretch it out and even used one of the massagers but I couldn't get it to loosen up. So leg day was a no go.

I'm hoping now that my stomach is better I can start pounding the potassium and magnesium and that should hopefully help with the cramps. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm always open to ideas.

Workout ended up being,

4x8 leg extensions
4x8 calf raises
4x15 calf raises
 
Workout got cut short because my gf's car didn't start this morning so I had to give her a ride home and take her to work, so I only had about half an hour at the gym. I still managed to do,

4x6 deadlifts @ 425lbs
4x8 Lat pulldowns
5x8 seated rows
4x10 preacher curls

I've been trying to slightly bump up the calories to put back on a bit of weight. I've been eating chips and pizza every night but I'm still sitting at about 198.
 
Wokeup at 196 today. So my attempt to throw on a few pounds isn't going very well. Ha. I'm looking more like a wannabe fitness model than a future state record holding powerlifter.

Since I got my vacation days right off the bat, I figured I'd use some before the end of the year.

Workout today was,

5x5 paused bench @ 295lbs
4x8 incline bench (Ended up doing those gay constant tension reps with a 2 second eccentric and 1 second pause an inch above the chest. Actually pumped my chest up to the point it was almost cramping)
4x15 cable crossovers
5x5 ohp
4x15 lateral raises
4x6 cgp
4x8 weighted dips
4x15 skull crushers

Was actually a crazy fucking workout... I was just drained afterwards.
 
Like I said, definitely looking pretty small. lol. It is kind of nice having the delts pop out a bit and being veiny as fuck.2016-12-14 10.04.50.jpg

P.S. That is a large shirt, not a smedium. Lol.
 
Wokeup at 200 on the dot today. So I'll probably just keep my macros where they're at and kind of coast around 200-202.

Workout was,

3x8 squats @ 365lbs

That was literally my whole leg workout... lol. I haven't done high rep squats in A LONG fucking time and my legs and glutes felt like they were on the verge of cramping after three measly sets. Ha.
 
I remember my first day of 8's on squats in forever a couple months ago. I thought I was gonna die, lol. I got crazy lower back pumps.

Yeah, it's definitely a different feel. lol. I squat almost like a weight lifter more than a powerlifter. So my legs and glutes get pumped like crazy on high rep sets, not so much my lower back.
 
Ahhhhh test and deca.....my first ever cycle. How I miss that cycle. In all honesty that was my best cycle to date....and I've done a few heavy cycles and blasted and cruised around...but nothing brings back memories of that strango test and ck labs deca....I literally remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when it really kicked in about mid week 4. I was starting to think, damn I'm just stabbing myself for no reason....then I grabbed the chin up bar in my apartment and proceeded to blast out 40 chin ups like it was nothing. I hopped down off the bar and thought...HOLY FUCK!! I'M IN LOVE!! The strength was incredible.
Anyway, not gonna jack your thread...just remembering that first cycle. Keep goin homie!! Hit those PR'S brother!

Ha. I was going to hit some pr's, but getting the flu kind of messed me up. Ive come to the conclusion though that I was going to drop down to 150mg's of test for the next 6 weeks, then take 8 weeks to re-peak and hopefully hit my goals of a 525 squat, 405 bench, and 605 deadlift. I'm going to attempt them raw, with the exception of a belt and sleeves when I squat.
 
It is f'n cold. TWC says it's -20 but my car thermometer said it was -24. lol.

Workout today was,

4X3 deadlifts @ 85% (485lbs)
4x8 Lat pulldowns
4x8 bent over rows
4x10 seated cable rows
4x10 t-bar rows
4x15 reverse flies
4x8 preacher curls
4x8 hammer curls
4x15 arm blasters

Pretty fun workout, got the ol arms just pumped! lol. Now the woman and I are heading off to this fancy hipster coffee shop to get stuffed on some "organic" breakfast. Lol. We always get the same thing which I end up eating all of mine and half of hers. lol
 
Felt weak as fuck today. Somehow I ended up back down to 197 again. So I guess I'll start upping the food again. Lol. I don't get it.. I've been downing chips and pizza and I still can't gain weight.
