I haven't had any pip in a long time. Using 27g insulin pin w/ 5/8in needle in v glutes and upper thighs.

Mostly it’s just the prop ester, not the needle-size

I started TRT+ with daily test prop injections. IM/shallow IM (depending on the injection site) with a 29/30g 1/2" insulin syringe. I had pip the first 1-2 weeks. After that, none to speak of. Whether a 1/2" insulin syringe is IM or SQ will depend on the injection location and an individual's body composition. Also with the narrow gauge needles, you will need to warm up the oil first. That may also then help reduce pip.

I am glad I started with daily prop. It makes it easier to dial in the right dose. I also get an enjoyable boost in the morning from the release of the faster ester. For me, however, the downside may be that I do tend to get irritable in the evening as, I suspect, test levels start to fall. I am playing around with some homemade ester blends now to see if I can still keep that morning boost while smoothing out the fall off in the evening.

Testosterone Phenylpropionate is a much superior ester if you want shorter esters. Might be a very large ester but last 2 days instead of 24 hours.

I brewed my prop with phenylprop and its super solid.

I've been playing around with various blends of prop and phenylprop, w/ and w/o acetate. I should give phenylprop alone an honest chance. I've only used it alone when I knew I couldn't pin for a few days.

I find that injecting it in the evening is the best time to give me a great feeling during the day. I’ve also tried doing it in the morning, but it feels like it gives me more of a boost in the afternoon and evening.

You get less for your money in phenylprop but the half life is what we were told Prop was a for a while.

The bad information we were fed for years was prop's half life was 36-48 hours. Now we are starting to figure out its less than 24 hours. More like 18 hours. Might be because most people (including myself) like thin oils (MCT, Miglyol812, EO) and that reduces the time to peak concentrations.

Phenylprop in MCT/Mig/EO fills that spot between 18 hours - 48 hours. My trough isn't anywhere near close to as low on phenylpropl as it was on regular prop and the blend also helps the pip.

Also, prop has the lightest ester. Phenyl prop has close, if not, to the heaviest. So you are getting around the same concentration you would of a Enanthate if you average the weights of the 2 esters out.
