How come when people win awards, games, boxing matches, etc. they always say, "I'd like to thank God for this."? What role did he play in the matter. When a child dies from cancer or a drunk driver kills a family of four, how come no one says, "I would like to thank God for this?"
Similarly, let's assume that God does play some role in it. Is it then safe to say that God loves some people more than others(aside from the obvious love for a, more or less, righteous, sinless person)?
It would seem that way since the winners have been blessed with more talent than the losers. Would it be safe to say that God loves retarded people less than geniuses since he "blessed" them with sub-standard intelligence and physical abilities and, hence, a horeshit existence?
