Not the sources fault.

If it was indeed to the proton address ending with "S", then there' a security issue.

To answer the question, no I did not receive an email from him about placing an order. The only email I got was one stating "quote" so when will my order ship? If he sent an email for an order to nextdayraws@protonmail.com, I would have received it. So my question is, did he get a pm or email from nextdayraw with no "S" about ordering?

That is interesting. He got the email requesting a price list. The scammer responds, and probably deletes the email from brews inbox. Order is placed. I guess the ok would have to check which email he ordered from. And the finally brew receives an email asking about when the order will ship?

Sounds like the intercept occurred prior to order details, so the scammer wouldn’t have known it was only for $60 until they had already began the scam

Sounds like The Brew Guru clicked on a phishing link that gave access to his account and scammer just changed letter up on new emial fronting.. and starting emailing back clients. Deleting inbox so brew never sees emials

Correct. When I figured it out, I was a bit confused. Im thinking, How did I send an email to the correct address, NextDayRaws@protonmail.com, and get a response from you with NextDayRaw@protonmail.com. After thinking about it, I sent an email to both addresses asking "when will my order ship?" I didn't know if one was for the list and the other one was for ordering.
