Sounds Strange! Help us figure this out.

He sent you an email to your original email address.

He gets a response from someone other than you, but

When he sends another email to the same address, you got it that email? And you responded?

That is interesting. He got the email requesting a price list. The scammer responds, and probably deletes the email from brews inbox. Order is placed. I guess the op would have to check which email he ordered from. And the finally brew receives an email asking about when the order will ship?

This is all interesting stuff

Sounds like the best thing to do is everyone stop posting and let this thread DIE!!!!! If he's been told/given proof and still doesn't get it he's either guilty or dense af.

I never got an email from him until last night asking "quote" When will my order ship" this is the only email I received.

Man aint this a bitch , so im getting a bunch of this same spam bullshit sent to my account. Probably from this same security breach , but ive never opened any of the links . Do you think this email is compromised too , and should just scrap it at this point ? Probably gonna have to ship to a new reciever addy now too because im sure all that info is compromised as well ?
Yea I got the same spam too, most likely it was sent out to a literal fuckload of emails. Protonmail I don't believe allows for JavaScript to be imbedded in the email, so as long as the links weren't clicked inside the email, you should be totally fine. Just dispose of the spam. Though more may come in time.

If you ordered from brewkit, and his email has been compromised, I'd definitely get a new email addy, possibly a new receiver addy. It's hard telling WHO, had/has control of his email. I mean if this all turns out to be true, screen grabs look pretty accurate, but what do I know. More than likely someone trying to make a buck. Don't ever rule out blackmail tho, if some insidious motherfucker has a papertrail leading to your doorstep fraught with illegal activity, you never know. This is why protonmail just plain and simple isn't good enough.
