No it wasn't. I don't understand how it would get intercepted. Unless, the real nextdayraws@protonmail.com address is compromised. I'm confused.
Proton mail has had a lot of phishing attacks lately.
One is you will get a email from proton saying you need to update your account or another is from DHL shipping.
If you have received anything like this at all never click on the links.

I believe you can search news reports on the Proton attacks. I can find and post later.

Stay Safe!

Ive got both of them recently , those fishing ass mf'rs ! The bad part is dhl lost a huge package of mine recently, and i was half tempted to click the bs . But no , screw that , aint no amount of money worth my freedom !

Yeah that never even dawned on me until you said it , like i said tech isnt my strong suit.. but it definitely opens my eyes to why I should probably brush up on it , geshhh shits sketch!!!
But this is not a freedom LE issue. Its a "Man in the middle" hack issue.
Sorta like a Tapeworm just leaching on the and getting paid.
I guess it could be LE who's to say.
Shit is for real.

Yeah i hear ya on it probably just being hackers , but whenever i get sketchy mail my brain just gravitates to LE lol...

I was convinced the Facebook spam sluts were LE trying to get info on me for the longest , even though in the back of my mind i knew it was probably just because i was searching to much porn and insta sluts:oops::D

We have to be more diligent when ordering via email. Beaware of slight variations of/ missing characters when receiving a response from a source.

Question??? And sorry if I missed your answer...

Did you initiate contact with this source or did he contact You?

Did you send your initial email to email with or without "s".

If your 1st contact was to WITHOUT "S", it'
Not the sources fault.

If it was indeed to the proton address ending with "S", then there' a security issue.

I noticed the email said BTC was an accepted form of payment, I thought brewkit wasn't taking BTC or am I mistaken?

The initial email I sent for the product list had the "s" at the end of "Raws" the response email with the product list did not have the "s".

What does"LE" stand for? Apologize for stupid question.[emoji53][emoji379]

Thanks

Can you post a pic of just the initial email address AND then the phony reply address.

Thanks

Respectfully

Attention meso members:
There is a scammer using
NextDayRaw@protonmail.com
If you notice, there's no s at the end of Raws.
I got an email asking when is my order shipping? I emailed the person back and said I never got an order. Thats when the whole situation was explained. So somebody from medo emailed me for a list and then attached the list to their email. Thank god the member only sent $60. So please be aware, the only email is:
NextDayRaws@protonmail.com with an "S"
Thanks.

Ur email is definitely compromised. I got the same thing. This scammer is also asking me to borrow $4000. Of course I told him I don't have it but u need to do something about this.

Im the one that got scammed. Just confused. I emailed NextDayRaws@protonmail.com for a product list; however, when I received the list it was from NextDayRaw@protonmail.com. how does this happen? Just need clarity.

Since it was a security breach on ur end... now the question becomes @thebrewkit are you going to cover our loss?

Yea he definitely hot phished if it's being replied to from a different addy. There could be a lot of customer info exposed in this.

This is why I believe true pgp encryption of messages is what should be standard protocol. Not this account based bullshit.

Man aint this a bitch , so im getting a bunch of this same spam bullshit sent to my account. Probably from this same security breach , but ive never opened any of the links . Do you think this email is compromised too , and should just scrap it at this point ? Probably gonna have to ship to a new reciever addy now too because im sure all that info is compromised as well ?
