Thyroid Replacement Therapy?

It seems from my reading that moderate weight training as in other training may be advantageous. But past that seems to have no benefit that i can see. and can be less healthy from my reading. If longevity is the goal. I lift as i like to and for quality of life and have decided the down side of what i do is worth the negative risks. . When i read of people in their 90's or 100's i do not see where in general they were physically extreme at anything. Mostly moderate and kept their weight down all their lives. Ate fairly healthy and were moderate at most in most everything.
Yes, I bring up the weight training for the massive sarcopenia epidemic that is coming with older people who are sedentary. Lots of falls which is a problem with no muscle and poor bone density. But the really tough old people just find a way. 90 year old granny broke a hip, surgery and back at it catching the bus in 3 weeks.

I understand all that. I started reading about health, utrition, anti-aging etc back when i was a teen in the 1970's. And have adjusted what i was willing to do and could afford ever since then. Depending on the latest info. Lack of estrogen is also a big player for people especially women as they get older with osteoporosis. The extreme high blood pressure that is achieved with weights may have a negative impact over a long period of theme. I tend to find diet is the most beneficial thing to health, long and short term. and the average person doesn't get much and eats few fruits and veggies. And as people age they eat less protein yet likely need to eat more.
