Time to grow and get strong (PLing w/a little bit of everything)

-workout split with a major leg focus (limited strength still due to the knee surgery)

I do push - pull with legs everyday. Quad and calf focused on push, hamstring on pull. I do a heavy - med - light split with each and change weights and rep ranges between. Just a suggestion, good luck man

Long time brother. Workouts have been a bit of a shitshow lately due to this whole knee thing. Are you doing compound movements (squats and deads) or mainly iso movements as far as your leg exercises?

Mini update
Squatted 225 for 5 today like a breeze. Trying not to get to far ahead of myself because I know muscle strength comes before tendon strength, but damn this was my goal for mid November and crushed it today.

From the research and studies I've read, high reps help build tendon strength. Something in the 15-25 rep range. Just some food for thought as you move forward.

Also, I am in no way saying do sets of 15-25 on squats

Truthfully that’s what I’ve been doing. Squat sessions are as follows
Barx20
95x20
135x20
185x15
205x10
225x5
So the way I’ve been progressing is once 185 gets to a consistent 20 205 goes to 15 then 225 should be 10. That’s when I add a higher weight. Next jump will probably be 245. I’m not sure I want to make the hop to 275. I may end up feeling it out for a trial run but I’ve read the same on the higher reps and building tendon strength. All accessory work is 15-20 reps.
