I love my mt82 6 spd but i know its limited. It does work fine under normal circumstances but when i go the the strip it leaves some thing to be desired. And also has a pretty bad rep for not holding up well under a standard boosted mustang pushing 850 or more. Its slower than an auto w/o question but yes way more fun IMO. The 10 spd equipped mustang or camaro out classes cars in the 250k range.

Caroll shelby didnt say "ferraris ass is mine" for no damn reason:cool:

I really like the new mustangs. I’ve driven several and everything about it screamed Ford actually gives a shit now

Just buy me a 98 e36 m3 please!!!!

Finally someone gets it : e36 m3 > e30 m3.

Don't let the hipster douchebags who bought all the e30's and drove the price up tell you otherwise.

I like the early e36's better than the later ones, particularly the early models with no air-bag component on the passenger side. Much nicer looking interior.

E36 M3 is very rare from what I've seen though. Even rarer, one that has not been destroyed.

I would wager the co produced Ford/GM mustang and camaro 10 spd auto is the best on the market. Its astoundingly aggressive when needed and smooth when you dont. I see them survive in 850+ hp applications with ease. Which is more than i can say for my MT82 6 spd. That 10 spd auto is what puts these cars in rare territory in 4 sec and under 0-60 times and under 12 sec 1/4 mile stock. Ford & GM did a helluva job together

100 percent correct. You left mine out. The TR6060. Living in stock form in many 1000whp rides.

Love the 10 speed.

I loved the e36. It was the literally the perfect split of sports/luxury. I absolutely loved driving them

When I had my talon my best friend had a e36 m3

The old 3v 4.6 had its day. Fine and competitive until it wasnt. I digress.
The 5.0 is a spirited animal in its own unique category separate from the others. Boasts ridiculous numbers at such a low displacement figure. Eagerly accepts boost like it was made to...well because it was thanks to forged internals. Everyone knows a built engine makes more power with less boost. And that explains why with 6-7lbs that lil 5.0 can make 800+ on pump gas. Thats basic supercharging these days. Crazy isnt it? The independent rear suspension makes use of the power vs the previous gen. The interior matches the attitude. Holy shit the mustang is for once a complete car. And also one that steps on the wallets of cars fetching far far more money.

For shits and giggles i turn off the traction aids from time to time and im quickly reminded why they exist. The car is virtually a rabid animal without some computer intervention. Especially when driven with spirit. Its terrifying actually.
Remember never lift until your fear of death over comes your fear of speed

Honestly I still thought the 3v’s were just not there. Evos and stis were stomping them from every corner. As well as all the left over f-body crew lol

The new mustang is all of that, and it’s priced well. Extremely well. It’s almost affordable for me even lolp

And vettes and challengers. Yes sir.
Jealous. Mustang problems lol. I guess thats the trade off for the rowing lovers in a car thats priced about 8-10k cheaper than its competitor, the camaro. Im seeing a tremec in my future...this shit gets out of hand real quick $$$

I picked up my '18 S550 new last yr for 32k out the door. Since i dont have any debt i just scratched it in check form and hoped the wife wouldnt kill me over it.
Base lvl GT with the 6spd manual. Comes well equipped enough for my tastes. Even has a 4x4 small screen and a backup camera so im happy. I never cared for the doodad extras anyway. And thats the truth. Woulda been nice to get the track pack with the 3.73s, 6 piston brembos, upgraded 275 series rubber and magnetic ride control but didnt wanna fork out the extra 7k. I gave em what i had and no payments :) . Hell yeah its a good deal. I think its actually Fords premiere engine. They underrate that coyote from the factory to preserve the 5.2 voodoo's standing in the lineup. I dyno'd mine and it made 415 to the rear and the dyno topped out at 6700 rpm. Well below my 7500 rpm redline. When you factor in typical drive train loss it makes alot more power than fords claimed 460 crank. It puts it closer to the 500 mark. 490 to be exact. Its open to interpretation tho.

Ford has always been excellent at deceiving numbers on purpose. Remember the cobra R? Said it was advertised at 350-375 and they dyno stock right at 385 lol.

Honestly the mustang with some good tires is fantastic all on its own. Exhaust for sound and you Have a serious street car.

Driving one you get that “sense” that the car just wants you to drive it harder, like it’s begging you to keep on the throttle and take that corner. Fantastic engineering stand off from Ford, and I’ve been a hater on ford for awhile

Wait what the fuck 32k cash?!?!! No, you can buy me the damn e36 m3 now.

Our 2016 vette (Z-51) has the 8L90 8-speed automatic transmission.
So much technology in vehicles now, like the active shift performance once you stomp on the gas. Just a blast to drive. Its also amazing to me that i can get 29 mpg on the highway while cruising at 75. Damn good for a car with that kinda performance.

To each his own. Comfort over performance if thats what you like.
But im pretty goddam well positive im gapping that thing by a football field
Ill even give it a 50 mph head start. READY? GOOO

Well come on man, I can’t ask you to buy me something to expensive :D

I know crazy isnt it? Ford uses butterfly valves in the intake to achieve the hwy mpg it gets. Took a trip to Austin last yr to see Metallica and Disturbed at ACL festival. If i stayed in 6th and was extremely light on the throttle ive seen 26mpg. But ill be honest its hard to do. Once you drop a pair and hear that demonic rumble that sounds like a mechanized version of AC DCs Brian Johnson gargling fucking lava all ideas of MPG go straight out the window

Long time no see, how is the leg?

Also im willing to bet my left nut thats a M&P Shield, it was my first firearm purchase and treated me well
Leg is great would have never knew it happened. Had some back problems though. Compressed L3&L4 and Herniated L5&S1. Been taking it easy but still in the gym. Doc said just stay away from the shit I know I shouldn’t do.

Yes it is the M&P Shield .40.

LOL, always cracking me up man. we are still getting settled into the new house, so doing my husbandly duties.

When i at home i try to be there, but when i am on line, i am at work. My job is mellow and i work by myself, so that's cool.

I was also kinda laying low with all the back and forth that was going on. I wanted to see how it all played out. I've been lurking and reading through the posts.

I am just assuming husbandly duties means plowing that ass like a New England clam farmer.

I need your job. Or you can employee me. Not sure what job do, so I can almost guarantee I will slow you down like you’ve never seen before.

@TitaniumGear (TGI)

Hey titanium titties! Found the catfish pictures. Also, it’s not me holding them up, since apparently in Tennessee having an iPhone 5 at the time was consider “Richie” lol

HAHA, ya i hear ya. I typically drive like an asshole, like all the time mostly. Not cutting off people, i always use my blinkers, but just going fast. I live in Southern Cali, so freeway driving is typically always at 90mph. On the occasion i'll see open stretches of fwy at night after my shift and hammer down. The fastest i have gone is 161. It's just too damn easy with all that power on tap. I can't even imagine driving the new ZR1. That is like almost double the horsepower to me! I'd probably kill myself.
