That shit is a big problem down here. My wife says it’s in very short supply at her hospital were they actually sent out a memo saying to only use it for severe cases and her patients get fucking pissed when they can’t have it.

It’s called Opioid induced constipation. As a former lover of any and all pain medication I never really had any problems because I drink plenty of water. Water is key to keep yo shit moving properly, the average person doesn’t drink water anymore. They drink sugar and caffeine so when they get on the delicious Percocet they get bound up.

Powerful opioids can stop the gastro system cold. I had dilaudin (sp?) in an IV drip following a bad MC wreck. Didn’t shit for a week. That right there was enough to scare me off the pain killers. No way man. No one steals my morning glory!

Really? I had dialudid in my iv drip AND through an epidural with fentanyal at night to sleep and never had an issue. I was walking around the hospital for a week after surgery pushing that button and eating all the ice cream out of the freezers on my floor, never skipped a beat.

Glad it worked out okay for you. Stopped me up bad, but my whole system was in WTF mode for awhile. Had to sleep in my recliner for two months. Sucked but all better now.

I threw my back out, my doc said keep on taking the muscle relaxers. 11 days no shit.

So he finally gives me a suppository and some gallon of juice. I figured the juice made you poop, suppository breaks it up. So I throw the suppository in, and I realize I Have it backwards.

So I tell my woman, I need rubber gloves , Vaseline, bread sticks, water, magazines and stat. Let me tell you, 11 days of compressed shit the size of a softball hurts like hell.

Couldn’t even flush it, didn’t even try. Had to put on the rubber gloves, dig it out, and throw it away like some sort of Canadian.

Moral of the story is, fuck you @balco
