Maybe you missed the memo? I don’t care what it looks like to you or anyone for that matter. I’m not gonna be bound by any unwritten rule book on how to behave in this thread.
And threads that run this long and have so much attention is what sells advertising on this site. But that probably escaped your thought process.
This thread helps with that process. So yes this a harm prevention site but it has costs to maintaining it. That’s what advertising does for the site owner.
I’m fully aware of how sites work behind the scenes. This site probably brings in between 5k to 10k a month. There is a lot more in play than rule number 93 about how to behave in a source thread.
Millard was smart in keeping it unmoderated because that allows more communication which builds threads and members faster, which in turn allows him to sell advertising at a larger price for the same amount of space.
Millard is a business man and I applaud his thought process when he constructed this site. That’s why he doesn’t intervene in this thread as long as nobody’s security is at risk.

We clearly have a difference of opinions on how a source threads should be conducted. I'm simply presenting my opinions in hopes that people will at least understand my reasoning and the reasoning of others.
I'm fairly certain I have never tried to enforce that in any way on any members.

Agreed. And I understand the other point of view and can see how it can be a negative situation.
But sometimes you just got to let things play out. Why create a problem when there is no problem, just because someone might think there could be a problem in the foreseeable future.

You know I’m sitting here thinking about all this back and forth shit. We talking about how ppl conducted themselves in this thread. Not one comment or complaint has to do with this source’s compounds.
Which brings me to my second point.
All any of us here care about or should care about, is getting a good product at a good price, without going to jail.
I think a lot of us have forgot what the mission statement is personally to each of us. The harm reduction is a by product of this.
Ask yourself this, if any of you guys have purchased weed, coke, pills, etc on the streets, wasn’t it cool when you got your stuff as you handed your money over to them compared to you having to give up your money and then leave and bring you back your shit.
Same applies here but in a different format. I see ppl upset in other threads when the source doesn’t reply in 24 hrs or less, and really freaked when it goes longer than 48 hrs.
TGI and the members that frequent this thread gave a sense of security that you were in good hands if you purchased from him. He was relevant on a daily basis as well as pm, and email.
Not one person but goofy balco has ever had a serious issue and the little issues he had was brought to the thread and handled in front of everyone.
I just can’t see why anybody would fault that. No matter what the unwritten rules were. It was a positive thing and it just sucks that a problem had to be found with it. You can see by the recent release of emails that another source had emails and other businesses outside of Meso and nobody finds fault with that, but yet we have a problem with ppl being buddies with a source.
