Pullovers are one of the single greatest exercises that no one seems to do. It hits most everything on your upper body, and there’s nothing better to do for your serratus anterior.
Agreed. I do them every week. Always been a part of my training.

No sir. Only outside for me. Opposite hand on opposite leg. Was just time to pin the other leg that day.
Sounds like a good plan, man. Happy pulling! Thanks Mac. My trainer has me working on exactly that. Keeping my T-spine locked down and activating my lats on pulldowns as well as narrow grip T-Bar rows (I'll try pulling more into my hips on back day tomorrow), reverse grip single arm pulldowns on Hammer Strength machine, plus a host of other exercises to bring up my lats.
You plainly stated that deadlifts are not a back exercise.
They absolutely fucking are. So yeah.
And i completely disagree. If you’re squatting with any volume on a leg day, you probably have no business also deadlifting unless it’s rep work. There are no black and white concepts to this game.
Deads are just as at home on a leg day as in a back day.
Yeah my traps get sore as fuckI can't believe it doesn't highlight the traps. I definitely get a nice burn in the traps, especially with a pause at the top
I know not what the PL do. They’re a weird bunch. Carrying 1.25lb magnetic plates around. Squatting with feet 6mi apart to a 24” box with 4 bands and chains. Drinking their damn coffees and eating between sets. I’m guna have to do a meet just for fun.If you are a powerlifter this is absolutely true. You don't deadlift on squat day or vice versa. At least not very many powerlifters do.
Have you ever seen us in the same room?@Mac11wildcat filling the void that @tengtren left
For lagging muscles it’s a great way to establish mind to muscle connection. It helps get blood in there and start settling the oil between the fibers vs sitting there lumped up. And I find, especially with legs, PIP is reduced.
Hips are good to go whenever. I do usually try to avoid pinning delts with anything more than a CC on Shoulder day because the pump creates pain so bad it inhibits me. But my delts are bitches.
Now who's got the vagina delts...For lagging muscles it’s a great way to establish mind to muscle connection. It helps get blood in there and start settling the oil between the fibers vs sitting there lumped up. And I find, especially with legs, PIP is reduced.

I do them a couple times a month. It tends to give me a crick in the neck down into the interior side of my right shoulder blade area though. Hence why I dont do them every week.
I guess at the end of the day, it was a covert way for @BigBaldBeardGuy to slip in a nude male and allude to his rectum but not come off as completely gay.
Do you do them lying on the entire bench or across the side? I tried doing them sideways across the bench and it puts too much tension on my neck.
Can you pin on lower outer chest or only pec?No sir. Only outside for me. Opposite hand on opposite leg. Was just time to pin the other leg that day.
I prefer Seth’s method but I have healthy shoulders and the ROM to execute that way. Modify them to fit you for sure.Ive done it both ways. I prefer flat on the bench though. A guy at the gym does them on an inclined bench. says he feels more of a stretch. IDK. Tried it but didnt like how it felt. Laying across the bench allows you to lower your hips giving even more stretch, per Seth Feroce. But I felt awkward and noticed my junk was being watched.
