Yeah it was definitely 6500 calories a day. I was weighing everything out and also eating the same way on the weekends

I'm 5'11 205lbs around 20% bodyfat. I dieted down to 173lbs last year, had fairly visible abs unflexed. Probably 12ish body fat and then started bulking on test/deca/dbol.

It was some underdosed MB gear and I gained more body fat than I expected, so when my bloodwork came back 6 weeks in I attempted to switch sources and salvage the cycle. Kept force feeding myself to keep making strength gains because my coaches block was so damn tough for me. Ended up squatting 405 for a single with good depth, but I definitely ended up with the power belly lol

I'm cutting at the moment on test/var. Going to cruise for a few months and then hopefully have a good successful bulk

Morning shake was
100g oats
250g egg whites
1 frozen banana
1 scoop protein
64g peanut/almond butter
6 oz whole milk

And I had 5 other meals of similar size

What did the daily macro count look like?

I wonder if I could run 500/600 test, then throw in NPP for 8 weeks, then switch that out for Tren Ace for the last 4. I know Deca/NPP are the best bulkers
Someone already said it. But really just the calories u put in determines you bulking or not. Some steroids just cause water retention so I guess they make u look bulkier than ones that don't cause u to hold water... Idk in my experience deca or eq with some anadrol or dbol In there has allowed me to grow the most because those compounds increase my appetite by an incredible amount. I base my bulking and cutting strictly off what my appetite is like as a result of what I run.
When I wanna lean out I take tren , when I wanna get big I do deca or npp, or eq or a nandrolone and eq combo even

I’m a bit confused.

Is your goal hypertrophy, weight gain, or strength?

If I was a PL I’d want to minimize the ratio of weight gained to strength gained over a cycle or training block.

5’11 is too tall to be stuck at 200lbs.

Training, food choices, or something else is interfering.

I’m also shocked at you fitting 6500 cals into just 6 meals. My offseason was 5 regular meals, a preworkout meal, an intra drink, a post shake, and a shake before bed.

I’m not doubting your facts; something just doesn’t add up.

Where did you start cals for the cycle/block?

That's why you just hit it out! I only ran once sunday ;)
Bro half the fields I play at there's never fence.. and when they know u are a power hitter they just play u as far back as possible. Anytime there's a fence I'm good. I can jog around the bases and I'm fine .. but I'd say even 3/4 of the fields I play at now have no fence... So I have to really run to get past 2b

oh well that sucks ass! All of ours are fenced unless I go down to play in the boonies..

To be perfectly honest it wasnt good lol. I just pulled myfitnesspal from last month and my macros for 3 weeks (i eat the same thing everyday) were

310 protein
655 carbs
258 fat

If you aren't growing on that, and at least most of those cals are highly bio-available, somethings very wrong.

Edit, I am 6'2'' 230 at the moment and I don't have to eat anywhere near that to grow. That seems like a fuck ton, have you tried about 2/3 of that split up into more and smaller meals?

Ye it does suck but I work it to.my favor at times... They usually start playing me just slightly deeper than average cause I'm the 3 hitter. So I usually get 1 or maybe 2 at bats where I can bomb it over their head... But then by 2nd or 3rd at bat, they are playing far enough back that Barry Bonds couldnt hit it over their head... So then I start hitting liners that drop in in front of them, or hitting gaps since they are so spread out

I was getting a ton of calories from nut butters, olive oil, chicken thighs, and 75% ground beef.

I let my friends pressure me into powerlifting and I suppose that just isn't the look I want. It's cool to put up PR's every week, don't get me wrong... But I don't think that's really what I'm looking for. I think the lower volume and high calories were a mistake for sure.

I suppose it's a learning experience. So I'm cutting at the moment and trying to take a more intelligent approach moving forward

If you are hitting pr's every week, you need to re-evaluate Powerlifting as well..

Yes, way to many cals from fat. Fix that and fix the power belly.

The key is always progression. If you start at 5k...you’re guna blow by 6500 fast to keep growing.

But IMO those macros are nowhere near ideal for lean muscle gain.

I have alot to learn about everything. I feel as though I need to lose the mentality of wanting to make 5 years worth of progress in a 12 week cycle.

So I'm spending the next 10-12 weeks cutting down and lowering my carb intake. Get my bodyfat under control and then set more realistic goals

Sounds like you’re on the right track man. Good stuff.

I'm sure I will get flamed, but fuck it. IMO 3-4lbs of lean muscle gain per year is putting in work. Strength can be obtained much faster, as well as fat loss. Keep this mentality up for a while and you will notice the difference. It's a marathon...

Yeah man, sometimes I'm far too focused on the destination and not on the journey

Thanks for asking the questions. You got a lot of really good advice from @Mac11wildcat and @MaskedLiberty. That was great to read and there’s a lot of guys that lurk and read these threads but never ask questions or contribute themselves. It’s how we all learn.

I have no problem sacrificing myself as the MESO dumbass. That's how I learn from my mistakes lol
