Shieko can't be beat. that guy is the real deal.I would take knowledge over anything else. I don't give a shit what they look like it's what they preach. My best lacrosse never played pro lacrosse but he loved the sport and even though he hand bricks for hands and was incredibly overweight he knew every drill needed to better your skill and how to tweak movements to make them better, he couldn't do it himself but he could teach it and he knew how to read the game and make the plays to compensate.
Does this directly translate to the gym? Not 100% but I'll take this man

Over any 1st place winner from any bodybuilding competition ever. That my friends is the best possible example you could ever have
There are a bunch of trainers at my new gym that look like they have never worked out in their life. would you listen to somebody that can't even follow their own advice?
That is me. I have a kinesiology degree and going to get my certificates for training. The average gym trainer, I would never take advice from. Most gym certs are about building a rapport with clients and anyone can get them.
Now a trainer with a degree in kinesiology I might listen too.
Then you are ignorant. It's not about how they look it's what they know or have experienced whether it's first hand or not doesn't matter if they learned from it. I don't care about certs or formal education or any of that shit because it really doesn't mean anything unless it's applied. A university degree in kinesiology is cool but I doubt it would give you a leg up to anyone who is truly passionate about this life.I call bullshit to everyone saying they would listen to a fat trainer.
so you would listen to someone about AAS even if they never taken any? Then you are ignorant. I hope am passionate enough to fulfill my goal of physical therapy. Also this site does have very good info, to an extent. Then you are ignorant. I listen to whatever dr Jim says and he's never taken any to my knowledge. Yes he's educated but as for having to do something to be knowledgeable on it think that's crap. Also if you look at most great Olympic coaches they usually aren't the top athlete but they are the top analyzers and have a different eye then the athletes and even sometimes just have scientific curiosity and enjoy the expirments in training and you don't neccasarily need to make those experiments on themselvesso you would listen to someone about AAS even if they never taken any?
Rodger that hit the nail on the head, I'd also add the biggest guy at your gym might very well be perminatly damaging his body or risking his health. Not all advice is good advice.I would take knowledge over anything else. I don't give a shit what they look like it's what they preach.
