So you're saying you get more results going above ~1g/lb?

I've had results with that too, but my question is, are you getting more results because of a higher protein ratio, or because you're bulking? Because my lifts blow the fuck up when I bulk, and I don't think it's because of increase protein ratios.

I do think a lot of those studies that calculated 0.82g/lb and or 0.78 and whatever probably dealt with people above 10% bodyfat. Does that mean lean individuals like us can utilize more protein? I dunno. It's scary to think about leaving gains on the table

When people cut, from what i gather they have kept there protein higher, then .9. Thus if I am putting all this effort into the physique and progress that I am looking for, the little but of extra intake of protein, basically, 1 extra big protein shake, is worth it. I do get more results when going higher, as well.

As the .9 are with people who are not enhanced, that is gathered from people who are naturally lifting. @Bumpygooch, At some point I remember him saying he was at 2 grams per pound was a solid intake for his goals, or he has been at that level of intake of protein before.

So i would feel the recovery process of someone enhanced could utilize the higher protein intake,
OR
this indeed missing out(FOMO) on maximizing results.

Back on topic-

I found a commercial company that specializes in sharps and pharmaceutical disposal

They primarily market their services to commercial companies but they said they have a few individuals who use their services, obviously you do have to pay. But you can bring your sharps to the drop off bin at the location and pay a certain amount to fill an entire trash can.

I asked how sharps are disposed of and they said they are burned.

Using protein shakes while on a cut sounds like a terrible idea. You'd be much more filled up with actually eating protein. I'm always ravenously hungry on a cut, no way I can fit protein shakes in there.

As for results on a cut, I mean, it's hard to gauge. I get stronger with more protein on a cut, but that's also because I'm eating more calories and slowing down that cut. I would think carbs would really be the priority on a cut for energy, since you aren't really going to be adding new muscle, and you need all the energy you can get to keep pushing your lifts as you lose weight.

I've been cutting for a few months with ~.8-.9lbs of protein, and have been making steady, slow gains with the weight drop. I also workout basically twice a day 6x a week, which is what I attribute to my results, and I was making results both on cruise and blast.

I'd love to up my protein intake but I don't think I have the caloric space for it. The only carbs I eat are basically leafy greens as it is too, no dairy bread rice pasta beans etc, it's all whole vegetables, not even fruit.

And a little ice cream I can't just not have ice cream lol.

1.3g-1.5g/lb on bulk, 1.5-175g/lb on a cut. I’d prefer 2g/lb all the way around, but, now at 270,+, and only bulking at about 3500 cals/day, it’s an impossibility to get that much food in. Macwildcat uses similar protein ratios, don’t tag him. I don’t want to drag him into every protein discussion. But, yes, I think it’s tied directly into results. There is some literature out there I’ll see if I can find.
