Trensomnia - What works?

Has anyone tried alpha/beta blockers? Steroid-induced insomnia looks like excess cotecholamines.
Yes, this also helps explain the mechanism behind why benzos or other GABAergic substances will alleviate some of the symptoms of insomnia. GABA antagonizes some of the effects of the catecholamines.

DHT could possibly also help, however it tends to be both GABAergic and adrenergic, so that would be more of a crap shoot.

I would advise against taking z drugs, benzos, or antipsychotics.

generic Benadryl works really well. Most over the counter sleep aids contain diphenhydramine (benadryl).

Z drugs have a potential for addiction as they work on GABA similar to benzodiazepines. I don’t fuck with antipsychotics period.

Reactions: T&H
Trazadone, Klonopin, Temazepam, and flexoril all seem to work ok to help the trensomnia. Sometimes a combo of 2 of these work even better like a traz and a klonopin have me sleeping like a log. I have insomnia already and am prescribed these things for multiple different reasons but a couple are for sleep and so far they’ve worked just as well while I’m on tren as when not on it. Note I don’t take all these all the time or together.

Edit: another note is that the first few nights on tren my rem sleep was way down to almost nothing on my sleep
Tracker and I had not been takin an my trazadone. So I started back up on my trazadone and since then my rem sleep has been back up to normal (for me) levels again.

Interesting... I have been getting around 4 hours and it feels like pure trash... So, I'm interested to hear if anyone else has had positive experiences without pharmaceuticals...Trazodone, Ambien, Lunesta, etc. are all unappealing to me).
Good luck my friend, without medication I found it virtually impossible even at 200mg/wk. I did notice it was easier to at least fall asleep if I got a good fuck in before laying down, but we're talking pure fucking none of that slow making love type business here. I know you said pharma options don't interest you, but if you do venture down that path trust me and DO NOT use seroquel. That stuff is poison of the worst variety and has massive side effects both mentally and physiologically. Another thing that might help is having some type of meditative noise in the background, just search for something like "relaxing sleep music" or "sleep meditation" on youtube music or straight youtube, its a massive help and most people overlook something like that. Again, good luck bro.

Just posting my thoughts and experience. Not looking for any comments or advice. As for Tren A's insomnia, whiskey was the only thing that got me to sleep. I suffer from GAD's general anxiety and have the strongest benzo' on the market they will put an elephant to sleep but I refuse to use them when cycling.
Not being critical, to each their own, but I cant help myself here... Refuse benzo's while cycling but drinking WHISKEY? Ur wild my guy... But yeah, I agree; tren is fucking evil dude, honestly at any dosage.

Benadryl gives me restless legs like CRAZY. It's brought me close to actual tears, like a completely hopeless child where the only option even available is admitting total defeat and weeping incessantly. It's seriously unlike anything I've ever experienced, and I've been through heroin withdrawal. First few times were intentional and I kept thinking it must have been something else I was using, then the last time was accidental bc my woman gave me that instead of the claritin like I had expected. Just thinking about it is making me uncomfortable right now, honestly.

here here, that's the right mentality. Blows my mind that some guys have taken the shit regularly for help sleeping... Seroquel specifically is addictive too, and getting off it is seriously rough.

T3 works. Weed works. 5HTP works. Benzos work. Lowering the dose work. Noticed that some part of the insomnia is caused by heartburn in the middle of the night so eating/drinking something to help with that also increase the quality of sleep.

Rotate Unisom + melatonin one night. Ambien and Benadryl the next. One of those super concentrated THC vapes and start just ripping on it a couple hours from bed time.

The sleep meds help you fall asleep. When you wake up at 2-3am just rip on the vape pen again about 4 hearty rips and go back to sleep.

I have also determined that daily injections of Ace makes the sides slightly less than EOD. Including the insomnia for me.

From my own notes, and my two disastrous runs on Tren, I found that my stomach needed to be empty for me to actually sleep on the Tren.

I'd say reduce your dose but you are already on a mild dosage.

Definitely not worth the risk of becoming dependent on pharmaceuticals to sleep.

I haven't had a natural nights sleep in 30 years. It's a fucking curse.

I never asked for your input. You obviously don't know the long-term effects of a couple of shots of whisky to get to sleep over a benzo addiction. No need to respond I have probably blocked you from all future communications. Just like I block the clown with the womans ass as his avatar. All sites like this have their useless contributors. With no science or real-life experience like I try to bring.

You're right, you didn't, you merely posted something on a public forum where anyone can post anything in response to anything, and I did it without malice or judgement or rudeness. Hell I even agreed with you. Since you blocked me you likely wont read this, but I think you're adorable and just wanted to formally say "tootles"

Never found anything that worked for me. I do use Magnesium Glycinate before bed and it makes me sleep like a baby. Never tried it on Tren though.

Has a consensus been made on this? I've used trazodone which worked well but still only slept 5-6 hours. I am taking ambien now, but not on tren. 5mg/night but it doesn't hit like trazodone. In my experience, after running tren for a certain period of time, my ability to fall asleep seemed to come back. I still ran the trazodone though. Tren seemed to really fuck my sleep up though, as mentioned I take ambien now, and I also take melatonin and an antihistamine (benadryl, unisom, or ketotifen) every night. There's a lot of sedatives on some of the vendor websites in SU, was thinking of buying a variety of them to try them all.
