TRT show on Wednesday night

Is this the "30 Days" show? If so, I saw the last episode and thought it was pretty good. This is done by the guy who made the "Supersize Me" movie where he ate nothing but McDonald's for 30 days and looked at the results.

The last show was living on minimum wage for 30 days.

Though I don't think HRT will be in full swing within 30 days, so we'll have to see how it goes.

I know that Dr. Mark Gordon did the initial consultation for the show. He's not a supporter of test but rather HCG.

From what I have read about that episode, it's more 'anti-aging' rather than TRT. He only uses HGH as far as I know, as well as diet and exercise. 30 days isn't really long enough to see or feel the results.

I heard him speak about a month ago and this didn't seem to be his bias. Heck he was even using test cyp with females. He is a consultant to HBO on the special they are doing. He recently indicated that Dr. Alan Miles may be helping with this. Miles got notice because of work he did using test with type 2 diabetics.

Thanks. I set my Tivo. Looks like the same hour-long program is also on the same channel right afterwords at 11:00 PM.

Here is the synopsis:

A thirty-something former athlete who is battling middle-age, an expanding gut, and a lowered libido goes on anti-aging drugs prescribed by an MD for 30 Days in an effort to reverse the aging process and put some zing back into his life. How will it impact his mood, his marriage, and his career? While on the drug therapy he will work out with a trainer, follow a nutritionist's plan, and have a doctor monitor any negative side effects as he tries to recapture the glory days of his youth.

The website says it will be HGH and Testosterone, but then it says that he will inject himself daily with HGH, so I am not sure if Testosterone is part of the program. It looks very interesting and I am going to watch, but again I don't think 30 days is a fair evaluation. I wish they would start it on day 30 and do a 90 day evaluation.

yea but u see the problem with the show is it's only 30 days long........ and i believe the guy is also taking HGH........ i don't think a month is a long enough time for him to really feel the effect in full but we will see.............

For maximum effect in the miniscule time frame provided, he should be placed on a transdermal testosterone delivery system.

Yep, Miles is an anti-aging doctor in the Sun City area of Phoenix. He's big on HGH, test and a bunch of supplements. Very expensive and kind of a questionable sales-versus-treatment vibe. Wasn't really willing to do just HRT and isn't able to go through insurance due to his anti-aging business.

Perhaps mass e-mail should be dispatched to all members of Congress......hehehe.

Had a spare moment and thought I'd recommend holding off on calling members of Congress. The producers tried to compensate for the somewhat ridiculous short 30 day time span with an overbearing volume of cardio and weight training. I have seen the rough cut of the show, and the ending isn't pretty. The subject doesn't stay on the program.

Best to Swale,

if you are still looking, I found a good guy in Phoenix who was trained by Ron Rothenberg who takes insurance and writes script. He is working with a compounding pharmacy nearby but his patients are free to take their scripts where they like. Contact me for more info. As my own primary is leaving town to teach at a med school, I just hooked up this new guy and so far so good.

Can't wait for the show. The wife and I are watching it.

BTW... you bros having problems getting your doc to incorporate hCG should mention the show. "I saw some show on hormone replacement where a guy used hCG... can this be beneficial to me along with testosterone?" Of course it can, but docs love it when you come to them as the loathly average joe desperately seeking medical advice.
