Free money for maybe 3 hours a week, max.I plan to donate once my cycle is complete and that does sound like a good deal. My blood type is A which is fairly common but donating plasma may well be worth it.
Free money!!!Donating plasma will not help bring your hematocrit down however. Just whole blood donations. FYI
Hell yeah bro! Free gear money!$400 per month you say?
i do believe i need to look into this!
You'd be much better off with this not being your first post. Smh... How about an introduction somewhere in the "New Members" thread?
The rule here (probably the same everywhere) is you can't donate more than twice in one week.Yeah this is correct...
Typically you can sell plasma every 4 days...i think? Normally get $ 50 per time....i did it for about 6 months in 2016
My hematocrit didn't increase very much while on my current cycle but still within normal range so I may donate whole blood and plasma soon. There's always a blood drive at the hospital I work at so this should be easy peasy.Free money!!!
And actually, you bring up a good point. A couple times while on cycle, my hematocrit was almost too high to donate.
A couple times, I was .1% away from being disqualified. Plus, it made my donating time longer. Off cycle, I'm done in 43 minutes. On cycle was closer to 1.5 hours. My hematocrit didn't increase very much while on my current cycle but still within normal range so I may donate whole blood and plasma soon.
Mine right now is at nearly 46 which is close but still got some wiggle room.A couple times, I was .1% away from being disqualified. Plus, it made my donating time longer. Off cycle, I'm done in 43 minutes. On cycle was closer to 1.5 hours.

Do they check your hematocrit before doing that?
Also, how much did that liwer your hematocrit, do you know?
Been doing it for almost a year now. Only bad experience I had was about 3 weeks ago because they said my vein curved and they had a hard time accessing it.I've heard donating plasma is unhealthy bros. Google that shit before you go. @T-Bagger how do you feel after donation? Do you ever get negative effects?
Damn. Donating plasma I heard uses like an 18g needle. Ouchy. And then health insurance companies will NOT reimburse a hospital that charges for blood, based on the assumption that it is free to the hospital.
And since my blood type isn't rare, I don't donate blood. I do however "donate" my plasma which brings in $400 extra per month, tax free. Great gear or vacation money.
I have donated plasma I had thought they said it was 16g. [emoji33]Damn. Donating plasma I heard uses like an 18g needle. Ouchy.
