Typically you can sell plasma every 4 days...i think? Normally get $ 50 per time....i did it for about 6 months in 2016

The rule here (probably the same everywhere) is you can't donate more than twice in one week.

And actually, you bring up a good point. A couple times while on cycle, my hematocrit was almost too high to donate.

My hematocrit didn't increase very much while on my current cycle but still within normal range so I may donate whole blood and plasma soon. There's always a blood drive at the hospital I work at so this should be easy peasy.

A couple times, I was .1% away from being disqualified. Plus, it made my donating time longer. Off cycle, I'm done in 43 minutes. On cycle was closer to 1.5 hours.

No they do not .

Mine will typically lower 3 or so points.

Been doing it for almost a year now. Only bad experience I had was about 3 weeks ago because they said my vein curved and they had a hard time accessing it.

And then health insurance companies will NOT reimburse a hospital that charges for blood, based on the assumption that it is free to the hospital.

And since my blood type isn't rare, I don't donate blood. I do however "donate" my plasma which brings in $400 extra per month, tax free. Great gear or vacation money.

Where I donate, they use a 16 ga. It feels like a fuckin harpoon!
