My girlfriend is a type1 so my sources of information are from her directly.

She recommends making sure your A1C is completely in check. She doesn’t recommend fucking with your hormones with t1. Also stay away from GH as that directly effects your blood sugar.

Realistically it depends what your goals are , but I’d be VERY careful and research exactly what you’re taking and what it’s doing. Typically with gear your blood sugar will run higher then normal so you’d be more prone to infections.

Your no different than the rest of us, except you have an understanding of how important diet is. AAS will not affect you negatively. Just maintain the glycemic control you have learned. Eat, train, and grow.
Best wishes.
Read his other posts. Does this sound like a person who should be considering AAS?

Type 1 here. AAS doesn't affect blood sugars really if you have a good understanding of your condition. Only clen is something you can't use.

Jason Poston is a type 1 IFBB and so is Ronny Rockel.

Appreciate the serious replay man!!
Hey bro no worries.

If you don’t mind so we can help you better. How long have you been training? What’s your weight? Height? Body fat %?

Having t1 you’re going to have to be on top of your shit, and gonna need a lotta insulin my friend.

Training for a year and couple months, 172 lbs, 6”0, 13.5%

Too early to dabble in my opinion. You barely lifted lol. Dial your nutrition first, you're way underweight for your height. Learn to eat first, gear or no gear you won't grow.

If you don't have the aptitude or interest to learn nutrition and training by yourself, spend that steroids money on a coach instead.

Good luck.

hey brother, I see your type 1 and I myself am type 1 and agree that most AAS don't affect my blood sugar, and yes clean is something that I found I can't use as well. I do want to know if HGH is usable as I've never tried it. Ive heard from a few others that HGH actually doesn't mess with their blood sugar, mk677 on the other hand I've heard really messes up blood sugar. But I'd appreciate any inout on the HGH, thank you!

HGH does affect it but it is certainly manageable. I pin HGH pre-bed and notice slightly elevated blood sugar and decreased insulin sensitivity during the mornings. You might want to increase your basal and experiment with lower carbs following you HGH jab

Thanks for the reply brother, have you by chance tried Metformin? If I were to use Hgh and notice slight resistance, I wonder if Metformin taken at night to increase sensitivity would help. Any experience?
