I do have a hot plate stirrer, the ghetto one in the picture is just to heat up the filtered grape seed oil and raws dissolve much easier in hot oil and the oil is less thick when heated so it takes much less time to drip through the tiny ass .22um bottle top filters.

Can you not see that I was in the middle of producing a batch when I took that picture? I guess it was a bad time to take it. ALL beakers are rinsed out with 99% ISO alcohol after I am done using them and than placed in the over to ensure it all evaporates off, washed out with distilled water and then rinsed out with alcohol again and reheated

And the filters? They are two time use (with the same compound of course) Yes, I replace the bottle top filters after every 1000ml batch is run through them as the filters do not work as good after awhile.

As far as soaking is concerned, i don't know. But for sterilizing surfaces (which you do do, right?) should be done with a lower concentration for maximum sterilization.

For sterilizing surfaces you are right, it evaporates quickly at room temp so there are better options. But, we still spray it on clean paper towel in a heavy amount and wipe the surface with it as it helps remove sticky oils, spray with bleach and then heavily rinse with distilled water and then use 70% ISO alcohol after drying the water using heaters.

Exactly. I gave TGI hell long after I probably should have. But the dude came through and I’ve spent some money (allegedly). @T-Bagger has seen that thread from the beginning as well.
