Ventrogluteal injection site?

@Jph30 thats the only picture that is accurate thanks I'm thinking a lot lately about ventro glutes.

Glutes is very hard for me now days I don't have the mobility to pin there.

I am curious can I hit a lot of spots on VG? like i did with glutes and quads

I only hit that one spot on the VG, but like others have said.....I also go just a little bit behind where that blue dot is on the picture.

I have an awkward time trying to pin glutes these days too, but I can't bring myself to abandon that spot. There aren't many places to pin 3cc safely, so i think if I become completely unable to pin glutes I'll have my wife start pinning me there.

Dude i usually only pin there and lately I have actually developed some kind of lame injection phobia. Once the needle goes in i start tripping that the angle is wrong and i pull it out before it breaks off inside the muscle. Im not making that up. It sucks and its getting worse over time.

Yes, I’ve been pinning there exclusively for a year

The odds of breaking a 25g needle or larger in your muscle are slim to none, even breaking the end off a slin pin inside yourself is a lot harder than you would think.
 
Dood I just did a vg shot that put me out a week! One time i did one and tried to ignore the pain and squat and fucked up my knee
I did the same thing. Some sites say “lift your leg out and the muscle that pops up is the VG. It’s not correct though, if you pin that muscle it tightens up and tightens everything else up while you squat, putting tension on the IT band that goes to your knee.

Definitely a good post because it shows everyone that there’s shit on the Internet about this that is very misleading.

I cant being myself to pin calves ......

Just recently added biceps into the rotation though and have been pleasantly surprised.

Anything, much less 3ml, much less 3ml or prop into a Calf???? Better not plan on walking that week!!!!

VG injections go a lot smoother if you lean on a counter to take the weight off the leg that you’re pinning.

VG is (relatively) hard to learn, but once you get the hang of it it’s magical. Doing high volume glute shots makes me cramp up from the twisting, so it’s a great replacement.

Really? It’s always been my favourite spot, after I stopped picking random spot in my ass to pin, I stumbled upon the VG not even knowing exactly and it was smooth af and pain free from the get go so I just keep using it, fast forward some time and I find these message boards, come to learn I’ve been pinning the ventroglute this whole time lol.

Im pretty sure thats mostly tendon when you do it that way or i think there is a tendon insertion just below that point! Which is probably why well over a week later its still tight and in pain
