WARNING:ALMOST DIED

Sorry to hear about this. At 40 I was running heavy cycles for long periods of time. I do have some heart issues, but that is from a drug overdose 30 years ago. My heart function is 40-45. I'm going to see what I can do to improve that with a cardio workout.

I could have been more responsible over the years, but I think you have me beat for duration at high doses. But over all bodybuilding which includes using ped's has been very valuable to my overall health. It got me off most drugs years ago including cigarettes, 2 packs a day.

I'm pulling for you brother.

Paul

Many of you have seen me post and comment from time to time and I've been around for awhile. I want to let everyone know what happened to me. I am 40years old, great health and I never get sick. I was taking 3ml of test cyp 250 a week and I've been doing that for a long time because I don't make test naturally and I got it underground because I don't have insurance. I was at the end of also with that about a 5month run of tren ace using 100 a day. I've done this plenty its the dose that works for me but never for exactly that long. I work hard and I had worked the day this happened just as everyday life. Later in the evening after going to bed I woke up to get a snack and I felt like I couldn't breath,as if I had pressure in my chest or like I was drowning. I called 911 and they came and got me treating me as if its no big deal. After a short drive in the ambulance things went south. I lost almost all lung capacity to breath in air and started violently spitting up fluid from my lungs. I heard the driver change hospitals and say something about critical condition, not the words you wanna hear as your fighting for your life. At this point he bags me to force air into me. I've never suffered like this before in my life. I was laying there violently thrashing fighting for air and wondering why am I not dying yet. I get to the ER and I'm surrounded by doctors cutting off my clothes and I was swelling in my midsection. Last thing I remember was them telling me they are inserting a breathing tube and me screaming for them to knock me out because I was running out of fight left in me. They fought constantly for four hours to save my life and I almost died in the back of that ambulance. Turns out it was my heart only working at20% which made me fill up full in my lungs with fluid that my kidneys couldn't get rid of. All this was caused by PERMANENT DAMAGE TO MY HEART which gave me congestive heart failure which I will have for life. I'm still very sick. I lost about 40lbs in just a few days. I may or may not recover my heart function, its now 10 to15% and I only have 50\50 odds of it getting any better. I may have to go on disability because I'm too weak to work anymore so I can't support my own family. Brothers learn from me and don't let my story be yours. Life is fragile and the damage done is certainly from the things I was putting in my body And now I am reaping what I have down. I know lots dothe same things without this happening, but is it worth the gamble of your life and ability to support your family as a man, a father and a husband. I promise you it is not when you stand where I am looking back. Pray for me,pray for my family and please think hard and be careful with what you put in your body. You never know when your story could be like my own........or worse.

Damn sorry to hear this bro, I will keep you in my prayers. Glad you are still around to tell your story. It's stories like this that everyone needs to pay attention to. Hope you get thru this bubba!

Thanks for sharing this @Mr.Oz. The reminder that we are playing with fire is sobering. I really feel the importance of having blood work done three or four times a year (I go back in two weeks) is essential to keeping an eye on your health. Helter Skelter only creates chaos.
I know you said you didn't have insurance or maybe the money for other avenues for getting the blood work done, but I think everyone needs to realize, especially after 40 years of age, your shit changes quickly. With or without the Juice.

Thanks again for posting. Hang in there and keep in touch. Prayers to you.

Another reason we should all realize why all these UGL's are full of shit, and most of them have no clue what the dosages are in their gear and are only out for the money. Which is the reason we all need to hold every single one of these labs feet in the fire when they come around here trying to sell their snake oil.

Ozzy glad to hear you are ok, but to be honest with you, the gear prolly played a very minor role in this if any. Your doses were not insane and neither was the length at all. More than likely it was genetics that played the largest role.

The lesson to take away from this how important regular blood work and check ups are, especially for the guys getting closer to 40. Heart, kidneys, liver and prostate should be checked regularly if you chose this life style. Also realize that the biggest side effect are the ones you can't see or feel, high blood pressure and triglyceride levels.

Take care of yourself guys. Ozzy i will be praying for you brother.

That sounds scary as fuck. I'm very sorry that happened to you. Praying for your safe recovery. Thanks for teaching us all a lesson.

Well said sir well said.

Really sucks to hear about this op. Shit hits home even though I've been gone a really long time. We are all here to better ourselves, look and feel badass... not this. I will pray for you and your family tonight my friend.

I'd have to agree with this. Don't think it helped, but everything combined probably played a role. Not sure how many years he ran blasts like this either.

First I am so touched by the outpouring of responses from the community here. I will be 100% honest and open with any questions you have for me so that maybe this does make a difference and help someone so they don't have to go through what I did. I never ran any gear till about 3 years ago. The majority of the time I just ran test alone and ran it at 2ml a week which would be 500 each week. I did that off of reading what recommended doses were plus what I was taking when prescribed TRT from the doc(he was prescribing 200 each week). I went up to the roughly 750 a week when I got this test from a new place and I started feeling more tired and like I wasn't myself. Looking back maybe the fatigue wasn't shitty test but rather my heart losing function cause they say that's the first big sign is fatigue. I ran tren I would say maybe 5 times if that much. I had read that 100 a day was appropriate. I read people debating about EOD or ED and most said ED kept your levels where they should be which is more consistent. I always did research to learn before doing anything. I never thought I was maxing out on dosage especially since its probably underdosed anyways. I am by far not making excuses for my actions just trying to show everyone my prospective and what I was thinking. As far as my genetics and overall health I had no heart issues and I always watched my BP because I know Tren especially can make your BP run high,it never did and BP was always good. My family doesn't have heart issues. Some have high BP due to bad diet but that happened when they became over 50. Iv'e had full physical work ups checking me out all over and all is good. I did do yearly blood work checking liver and all the other normal stuff and all was good even after starting on gear. Once one of my liver levels was barely elevated but was told it's nothing to worry about and it was tested again in a few months and was normal. I did not test my blood to see my test levels ever. i went off of my feelings in my body which many people do but it's so not accurate at all. My level in the hospital was 3100 or 3300 it's a little hard to remember cause I was clinging to life. But as you know most are happy with that level and glad to see their level at that amount. That also shows my stuff was underdosed cause it should've been higher and I had pinned 5 days prior the that day. Someone asked my diagnosis. I now have congestive heart failure and will have it forever. This comes from something I put in my body damaging the muscle in my heart. So it's for sure not genetics or bad diet, believe me I would feel better if it was but that's not the case. I did this to myself and sometimes that's a hard pill to swallow. Someone also asked if I felt it coming on. Well about two weeks before this happened I was at work at the end of a hard and hot day(I'm a welder and fabricator) I started feeling like I couldn't breath. I had asthma as a child and I know what that feels like but this was different. It felt like something was putting pressure on my lungs making it hard to breath in,I had to think about breathing and work to make it happen. Nowhere near the way it was the night I almost died but it scared me and it passed in about ten minutes. I wrote it off as I am overheated and I breathed in too much smoke and/or fumes that day maybe aggravating my lungs. No issues after that until the night it happened as my wife and I were going to bed I was laying down and had to sit up because I felt like I was smothering and like I couldn't breath and after a second it passed. Other than that I felt GREAT aside of being very tired and fatigued after work and I thought it's from the heat cause I live where its VERY VERY HOT. Looking back I can see I was way too tired and had a bad lack of energy that should've been a red flag for me. I hope I have answered some of the questions you all asked of me and I will answer anything you ask with honesty so that we can have more info out there to educate others before they choose to use steroids or not to use steroids. I also am not here to bash steroids nor people who read this and decide they are gonna keep using high amounts of steroids. Everyone's body is different and as you know there are those who use once and die and those who use for 30 years and live to be 90. All I know for sure is what happened to me and what I put into my own body and for how long, and that if it happened to me it's a possibility it can happen to you as well and I wouldn't wish that on anyone ever. Please ask anything and if it's personal then PM me. I will do anything to inform anyone that wants more information. Again the outpouring of love and support is more than I could've imagined and I am so thankful to you all!

I had bad night sweats but that's all.

I'm sorry to hear all of this. Being in the younger crowd I see lots of guys my age (20's) dosing like this and worse, thinking that its the only way to make steady gains. Im a firm believer that progressive EATING and progressive TRAINING should be your keys, and moderate cycles (300-400mg test) be your supplementation.

A good analogy that Dante of DC training always makes - Imagine a billionaire comes to you and says he will give you millions of dollars to add 50lbs of muscle onto someones body, but the catch is you can only use 300-400mg of testosterone and other natural supplementation to do it. What tricks are you going to exhaust in order to make those kinds of gains? Heavy ass training, ensuring that progress is made at every training session, and progressively raising the food in accordance to the rate of weight gain. Too many people these days base all of their research and planning around the cycle, they never push the heavy slag iron in the gym, and they never push the food until theyre uncomfortable (or the fat boys push the food too much and turn into a dough boy). Sure, you could push the drug doses and get there much easier, but how is your health going to look in 10-15 years?

I am so sorry for you oz... you and your family will be in our prayers for a speedy recovery. This is a terrible thing to have happen, but you are still alive :)

Had just one question, you said you went on "feel" instead of getting bloodwork done, can I ask what your AI dose was (if it all)? Abnormally high estrogen has also been known to lead to heart problems.

How often and how exactly did you monitor your BP?

Im sure this is quite a wake up call for a lot of members here, and it truly awful to hear what you're going through, but hearing experiences like yours might help save someone else from traveling down that path.

@ Mr.Oz
are you able to disclose the brand or manufacture of the test or tren?
