Weak glutes or poor ankle mobility?

Most effective ankle mobility exercises for squats and lunges? Been looking online and there are soooo many that it is a bit overwhelming. Has anyone improved mobility with a few specific exercises?
Additionally, my right glute medius is much weaker than my left it causes my right ankle (the one with issues) to collapse inwards. Tight adductors on the right side as well and I know these factors can cause issues in the kinetic chain.

Should i be focusing on ankle mobility or glute strengthening exercises?

Thanks all

But a 10 lb plate under your heels so it makes a slant. Some gyms have rubber to do this with. Then practice sauatting form like this it will allow you back to be much more straight. Instead of shoulders going forward. I have terrible ankle mobility too. Also this just mimics squatting shoes you can get those too.

On a side note, just do ankle mobilitys work. Stand on a slant board so you stretch achilies tendons an calf. Any calf stretches. Ankle circles. Etc.

For kinetic chain stuff usually you want to foam roll above and below the issue.

Awesome! I just ordered those rubber slants I see at the gym. I'm building my own gym in our garage so I figured I'd need these going forward in terms of stretching as you recommended.

Much appreciated

Cal Dietz multiphasic training. YouTube it and be fkn amazed, i cant say the whole program is for everyone but extreme athletes, but he has bizarre ankle mobility work and gets US mens and womens hockey players going up like 125#s and more on single leg squats bc of it, its pretty insane.

I'll definitely look in to that later today. I appreciate the reply! Cheers
