You obviously just increased your carbs and changed your workout routine around, right? Started taking creatine? Clearly!I really am having myself a blast this time around. I think our conversations here last week helped clear my head and my focus a bit. I got so tunnel visioned and when things appeared to be going sideways on me it pissed me off and killed my morale. Gonna keep getting after it leading up to Thanksgiving before I take a break, and I plan to do as much damage between now and then as possible.
Can’t wait for all the inevitable questions from family over thanksgiving regarding if I use gear or not. I always love those, plus we are hosting this year at our place, so should be interesting.
I think you hit on something really important: fun. If it's not fun, less likely to adhere and be consistent, less likely to make progress, etc. There is a balance to strike between fun and optimization. @Eddie. touched on it - this is a marathon, and it's very true.
