What is the worst thing you did as a beginner to AAS ?

I though it was gana be bad I freaked out and went to the optometrist and they said its perfectly normal, it can happen caughing sneezing or over exerting on the toilet or lifting, I had never seen it before basically all the white in one eye was red, but they did say it can be bad if the blood moves into the color part of ur eye or pupil. Some freaks at my gym seen an after I told them how I did it they were like hell yea ! Lol but eye fully recovered after 3-4 weeks, only told put eye drops in if bothered me. My first day. back at work after they wanted to send me home I had to give them a dr note. It looked pretty crazy.
Happy to hear! Gym owner he is now an older guy, still lifts though, told me he ruined one of his eyes by doing lots of crazy heavy decline DB bench back in his day. His one eye went blind and never recovered, he went to clinic but all they could do is save his eye from "dying", but it was like in the 90's so maybe now technology advanced.

Thanks, yea for sure the blood probably moved into his pupil. Gym owner rockin the eye patch. Bad ass. I dont decline anymore bairly flat,I dont like that decline feeling with the blood rushing to my head my foreheads already vainly as hell when I lift.

Me too, I stick to between 8-20 reps these days. I have no idea what I can even bench I'm sure it's over 300 but that's irrelevant.
I cared too much about lifting high numbers Instead of high volume.

I never weigh my food. I just eye ball everything.
Me too Execpt I just got one the past year for a serious cut I have slight fat genetics and I tend to loose muscle easily when dieting dont know if its because I dont know what I'm really doing, but I have to really try an dial everything when loosing weight.

Way too long on high dose anadrol with no AI or Serm on hand. 50 to 100 mg daily for basically 5 months. Boom...gyno.

Did the standard 500t first cycle. Ran perfect with ancillaries on hand. Diet perfect. Towards the end I looked pretty unremarkable relative to the unrealistic expectations I had and jumped straight into adding 700 tren. But you know, sometimes you need to learn what not to do firsthand lol

I think most people would agree that after taking the plunge into AAS, results are not as dramatic as we expected. It's a process that takes time.

Perhaps, but it gets even more underwhelming when you do a second blast, you realize that the first one was actually better in terms of gains lol. Assuming of course everything was done correctly first time. Then on and on you as you advance you get less and less. First cycle will always be the best!

So that's how you came up with this nickname.

This right here.

I listened to a lot of harm reduction/MPMD cycle recommendations (which is great info in the beginning, the chances of some newbie getting all fucked up following Derek’s advice is pretty minuscule)

I guess my biggest mistake as a newbie was doing 300mg a week test and 40mg of anavar daily and wondering why I’m not blowing up lol….

My first “cycle” I was deployed and some of the bigger guys just told me to take this stuff well I bought every thing they said. It was an oral only cycle, with the old Xtren, and 2 products with superdrol in it took it for 4 weeks and felt like I was going to die.
After that I got on forums and made sure to research everything I could.

Almost had a heart attack doing shoulder press on anavar. Immediately dropped the dumbbells and went hiding in a corner ready to dial 911. Scariest moment of my life.

Damn, how can you be so sure this near heart attack was from taking anavar ? How much were ya taking per day and did you take any other compounds? Did you have any heart issues prior to taking the anavar or have a history of heart issues in your family ?

Also since that incident have you done more cycles and if so did this heart thing ever happen again?

Hard to imagine a newbie running into major heart problems on his first couple of cycles running a bit of anavar … I woulda assumed one needed more prolonged exposure to AAS before that shit starts happening….
