What is your opinion of abortion?

Pesonally i think its one of the most horrible things to do.Killing a person is one thing.Killing your own flesh and blood is umimaginable.I understand many people say that they cannot afford to have more kids,etc.Well in that case give them up for adoption or dont be so dumb that you dont know how to use a condom.But in either case taking a life is just WRONG.Hell i think even if someone has been raped that person could at least deliver that baby and give it away then.How many parents would walk upto their kids bedrooms at night and slit their throats while they are sleeping? Sounds horrific doesnt it.Well in my opinion abortion is the same thing.I was doing some research on the anti progesterone drug Ru-486 and stumbled upon a website.It says that even in a few weeks the baby has started developing facial features and hands and feet.How could someone kill an innocent thing like that is simply beyond my comprehension.

IMO, abortion should only be used if it's necessary to save the life of the mother. I used to be of the opinion that abortion should be available in cases of rape and/or incest, but now I'm not so sure. Adoption is still available, but then again, who'd want to bring a child into the world under those circumstances....much less when you take into the account the potential birth defects, abnormalities, etc that appear from incest? Anyone else?

I'm a Republican but this is one area that I share opposing beliefs with the party. I think it is a horrible thing but I can see why the majority of Americans support it. Raising a child is a huge responsibility and many take the easy way out. We have enough problems in our lives without having to worry about having a child. With that being said I think there should be limits when abortions should be illegal in my opinion. I would say a good mark would be to make them illegal after the first trimester.

I know it's a terrible excuse but let's face it, humans are selfish.

No need for me to redeem myself.I always speak my mind and certain things i am against no matter what anyone says.Sure if the mothers life is in danger or there is a case of incest thats another thing.But you can bet that most these abortion clinics countrywide rarely get cases like that.Most of the times some young kids get stoned and drunk and fuck without a condom or it breaks.Those are the ones that piss me off.And just young kids arent the only ones doing it.Ive seen many older(30s and 40s)people get abortions done.

I love it. I think it's great and should be practiced much, much more than it is. Any small, white trash town of 10,000 people should only have about 6000 since most of the inhabitants shouldn't have been born to begin with.

This is something that is really really hard to address, or atleast I think it is...Someone close to me had an abortion...I did not agree with her reason for having it done at all...but I am not gonna turn my back on her....I had a miscarriage when I was 20..I was 3 months pregant..and I saw the ultra sound of my baby.... the week b 4 I lost him or her...I saw the heart beat, the hands, and feet (which had just started to form) eyes, nose holes, its stomach bones the whole things...It was moving and full of life...a week later my first husband got pissed off at me knowing I was pregnant and slammed me against a wall as hard as he could...The next day I woke up and I was bleeding....I went to the doctor and the did another ultra sound...This time no movement...No heart beat..No nothing...That image will b with me for the rest of my life...It was like I had done something that someone was not happy about and I was being punished for it...I still remember the day it happened like it was yesterday..and I remember the baby's birthday...and believe it or not I sit here and wonder if it was a boy or a girl...but I will never know that...There r very few reasons that I would back someone getting an abortion...but like I said someone very close to me had one and I do not approve of her reason but I am going to b there for her.....

i can appreciate your tragedy sweet but it's not fair to project your values onto others. if you think having unprotected sex automatically obliges you to have that baby if you get pregnant, that's fine. but not everyone is, nor should they be, obligated to feel that way.

One thing to think about is the fact that the at the rate population is rising, the planet will not have enough resourses to support the future generations. The implications of the horror that will befall our great grandchildren is worth taking note.

China now only allows 1 child per family and you need a license to have more.

Being born in an aids infested hunger zone like africa is no way to start a life. If I had the choice of not being born or being born into a life like that then I'll take death.
