I've only used my insurance twice this year and both times they "adjusted" the bill so I owed more later. I do get a monthly credit towards my payment since I make a poverty wage, but the wording of the agreement leads me to believe they're going to intercept and keep my income tax return next year to make up for it.

Really, a healthcare overhaul was needed, but not like the meat of this one. The preexisting conditions, and psychiatric care changes were really good, but the rest of it can fuck off.

Canadian health care system is beginning to FUCKIN PISS ME OFF!!!! I was informed yesterday I will not be going to surgery mid October now
If anyone knows the pain from a 2cm gallstone in their guts it isn't something most could handle!!!!!!!!!!! Been almost 6 months so I've learned how to take the pain so to speak

I tried the ER root man after 8 hours lying in bed the doctor asked me how I felt. I told him the pain had subsided. 1 hr later I was fucking discharged from the hospital. Joke!

I don't think I could deal with it. No options there at all? Overseas maybe? It's crazy to me knowing how much it hurts that they'll just let you suffer so long.

My nose got shattered at work about 2 years ago while I was helping someone, long story short my nasel airway is 90% blocked and I'm a mouth breather because of it. Surgery expected in 4-6 months that's only 2.5 years since incident date not bad right?

Go to a different ER in the city with a shorter wait time (usually if there is a 'shittier' hospital, that's the one).
Tell them the pain is a 10.
They let you go because the pain symptoms disappeared and I believe the indications for this surgery has to do with whether or not it's symptomatic. So they probably figured no symptoms = no immediate need for surgery.
That would be my suggestion. I went to one hospital after I broke my arm, very short wait, under an hour I believe. Took x-ray, got pain medicine and they sent me to a better hospital to meet a surgeon in the morning. Surgery was scheduled for the following Monday.

I raged when the surgeon office called me. Then the actual surgeon called and said he apologizes for the wait but unless it was fatal it get's pushed back.

That's horseshit. Something similar happened to my dad some years back with hospital wait times. He wrote a letter to his MP about it. Too bad that doesn't actually do a damn thing lol.

They gave me pills which do nothing because the gallstone location is right at the entrance to the gallbladder. So any time bile goes threw to the gallbladder instant pain
They said I could go in for injections but talk about hassle and since the pain is constant it's unrealistic. Would be going in for injections ed. So I cope with weed...takes my brain off the pain and into LA LA land
