I walked into a jewelry store a couple days ago to get a new battery put in my watch, the owner was a straight up fucking bitch to me from the time I walked in until the time I left. I get home, and after a few hours the watch stops working. I go back down today and tell them that maybe the battery is bad they put in it. Her asshole husband takes it apart and says that the battery isn't the problem and asks me if I'd like an estimate on servicing the watch. I said to them ,"the watch just needed a new battery, you took it apart and now it doesn't work, maybe you screwed something up? Doesn't that sound logical to you?"
She asks me again if I'd like an estimate on getting it fixed and I told her ,"No, not from you, because I do t think anything is wrong with the damn thing to begin with...furthermore I wouldn't give you another cent of mine for anytging because you people are rude as hell!!" I walk out, drive to another jeweler downtown, guy opens it up, closes it, works fine. He said they didn't put the battery in far enough to make a good connection.
Told my mother about it when I talked to her earlier because she goes there, she said they tried pulling the same shit with her. They know theyre fucking with you, yet they have the audacity to talk to you like shit AND fuck with you? But most people fall for this shit, and it's not right. Sort of like the little old lady who is told by the mechanic she needs 3k in repairs when all it needed was a $50 part
