Thats some pretty FANCY candy there Eman .
I had some other ones yesterday that were good, sort of similar. They were little chocolate candy bottles that had brandy in them. I'd never had them before but hell if they didn't have like half a shot of brandy. Good stuff!

Oh and last night dinner. Home made flat pizza with smoked salmon , spinach, sliced tomato, artichoke hearts, pepperoni and lots o cheese.

I can understand it more than I can speak it oddly enough. German can be very difficult because they have a specific word for everything and string words together making them very long.
My girl can speak 4 languages... Damn show off. Very little accent though, most guess she's from the Midwest.
Thats what always comes first. Understanding. Then learning to apply it in social engagements. Without sounding like a rookie.
Europeans are way more seasoned than us Americans. It is not uncommon to find them learning and mastering multiple languages. We must be doing some thing wrong here in the US

It's true, most of her family speaks much better English than I do German. But that would be common in many countries.
It's true, I think we are doing things wrong here but I don't think the US could ever replicate European qualities in education and everything. We're too different here and we won't change. Hell, we're on track to be more and more unlike them as the days go by as far as education policy, climate policy, etc.
