I can’t believe people actually willingly eat this!!! Last time I had it had to have been around 1983 and it took a half gallon of milk to choke it down. Stupid parents - old schoolers who made you sit at the table till your food was done. And the damn dog wouldn’t even touch liver :mad:
I like it but I not when it's really ground up. That's just gross. I had a grandfather that ate it like that

I love good old liver and onions lol.... pan fried or BBQ. If the wife makes it she soaks in milk which I dont do

Y’alls are some sickos. I could never get past the taste. Still makes me sick nearly 40 years later. I promised I would never make my kids eat that crap and they never have.

Love liver just alone and some basic spice. Calf liver has a much more mild taste which is what I buy. To me it just tastes like some sort of hybrid hamburger/steak. One of the most nutritious meats or foods you can eat period. Should be a staple in any fitness/bodybuilders intake even if you have to go the desiccated route.
 
Upon further review this is what he suggested he throws this mix and n a pot on the smoker as well, also olive oil salt and pepper on cauliflower.
2 tbs olive oil
2 yellow onion chopped
10 smashed garlic
5 jalapenos
16oz butter
1.5 apple cider vinegar
1 can ketchup
1 pint Dr pepper
1/4 cup molasses
Salt pepper to taste
Sauted onion garlic olive oil, add butter until starts to foam over add rest of ingredients reduce down, storing to not let bottom scorch, throw pot on smoker for couple hours. I'm with holding jalapenos so it is kid friendly and not adding the molasses as well.

I put a couple pounds of chicken liver in my chili.
Matter of fact organ meat is simply the best for you.

Lol I was thinking the same type of thing @ickyrica .. It wasnt until I got with this fine ass older bartender (she was 35 I was 18) that I became a pussy eater. I didnt like Liver either when I was younger, but now I'll eat the shit out of it if its prep'd right. Gotta remember that liver filters out all the crap in the body, theres gotta be some funk left over in there. Liver needs some lemon juice and sweet onions when fried up and its damn good
