What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Took the wife out to a fancy steak house. It was a select 4 course menu where each person had to order a (appetizer, salad, main course and dessert). Every time we finished a plate someone would rush over and take it and place us silverware for the next course. I expected it to be the best steak/meal ever. It was not. About shit when I got the check. $235 just for the wife and I. Ehh... lessons learned.

Price Fixe menus on Hallmark Holidays are rough man.... I worked at a Fine Dinkbg Restaurant for a few years in my early 20s and our biggest profit nights of the year were NYE and VDay

Ive worked at "the Best" 4 and 5 star restaurants in Seattle , Daytona Beach and Ocean Shores,WA. and they werent always the best . Stars mean nothing . Usually the best place to eat in town is the oldest place in town . Or just ask a local wheres the best ?....;)

The wife loves Roadhouse. I’m a Saltgrass man myself. I will never look no further again.

Also, Longhorn steakhouse is good.

You won’t be disappointed. It’s one of Tilman Fertitta restaurants. He owns the Houston Rockets, Golden Nugget casino, pretty much all of the strand in Galveston and a ton of restaurants (salt grass, laundry’s, Bubba gump co, etc). All are top notch. Well wife wasn’t a fan of Bubba Gump Co but I loved it!

Swiss chicken.
First time someone handed me vinegar for my fries. That and a fancy saucer to clean my fingers. Like...wtf is this? A hot drink?
