What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

it's all changed since I was there. The Brazilian steakhouse is legit, I've been there (not the Orlando one) and loved it. You're on the theme park side?

If you're near the Pine Hills area you're going to wanna hit up Mr Quick for breakfast. It's an old school neighborhood style dinner located in the hood.

Winter Park had a Magic mushroom pizza joint. No clue if it's still there or not. That's north of downtown Orlando, Worth the cash imo.
Thank you, appreciate the info ... will be at Meadow woods but I am going to get around ...

Not my area of expertise tbh, I was in winter park but I-drive has pretty much everything, insane amount of action around that whole area. If you're drinking and driving leave a sticky note on your horn reminding yourself to turn the headlights on. Those parking lots are bright and fool people. Good chop Houses down there too

I don't drink anymore and that will be a family thing - will be drive a lot ,like coco beach or Daytona ... been there few times but I always open for recommendations
thanks again

We had a Whataburger on University Dr. when I lived in Orlando. Never a bad time.

Also had a Steak n Shake. Eh.

Is Steak n Shake not a thing where you live? They're nothing special. Although their chili cheese fries are pretty good even though they don't usually look good. We got a Freddie's in the area recently, which looks to be along the same lines. Haven't tried it yet though.

Five Guys is good, but I'm not super impressed with it. It's about like Backyard Burger to me. Not amazing, just good. Haven't had Whataburger yet. So far for me S&B's Burger Joints blow every other burger place away by far.

@gr8whitetrukker if you're ever up in Oklahoma hit up an S&B's. If they're as good as the Illinois location you won't be disappointed.

All we have for chain restaurants are the big 3 (McDonald's, BK and Wendy's), five guys just came into the area a few years ago. Not much else for burgers. Walburgers, but that's a garbage type of thing imo. It only exists because of Don and mark walhburg.

Boston burger company is good, but limited locations. They have very good shakes. Like wicked fucking good actually

That's surprising, I thought the East Coast would have everything. We have those three for burgers plus Hardees, Steak n Shake, Freddie's, Backyard Burger, Culver's, Sonic, A&W, Dairy Queen, Arby's, Huddle House, and not terribly far we have Five Guys, Krystal, and White Castle. Hardee's is called Carl's Jr. some places.

Of those only Five Guys and Backyard Burger really stand out. Haven't tried Freddie's yet, but I believe it to be like Steak n Shake. Usually local spots have better burgers than most chains. S&B's is like a small chain, maybe a half dozen or so.

I like 5 guys too but $34 for 2 burgers and two drinks is outrageous for what it it is.

Yes, it is. They're better than typical fast food, but they only serve basic burgers. I'm gonna shill for S&B'S a little more and post a section of their menu.

I mean you can get mac and cheese, bacon, chili, and a fried egg on a burger for only a few bucks more. It's as good as it sounds.
