What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Its great stuff from pureline . No relation to the forum lol ... coincidence ..their whey isolate is also very pure , they have a recovery product called glutagen that I swear by!! No sugar or fillers but a natural sweet taste, perfect for coffee, oatmeal, protein pancakes or any other "sweet" treats ;)

Not bad for the price ....I use Syntha-6 but it has more carbs & calories . I like the taste. I might see if Pureline has a sampler pak . ~Ogh

^^^^Damn I need to get more creative with my meals! That sounds delicious Brutus.

8 oz. elk backstrap, 10 oz. red potato, 2 tbsp. Mac nut oil.

Also a staple in my household! Have a nice 4x5 bull in the freezer from October. Might have to scavenge another tag and get a 2nd elk. We had no problem going through two elk last year.

Also in the freezer: whole pig, lamb, and antelope. Have a half of moo cow (not to be confused with cow elk) coming this winter. I'm an animal lover.

About 4 hours
This is a new brine im trying
3/4 c kosher salt
1/2 c soy sauce
2/3 c sugar
1 gal of chick/veg/water broth combo
Heat it up on the stove until the slat and sugar dissolve. Let it cool to room temp.
Add chicken, brine and ice in a cooler. 4-6hours, but start with 4 hours and see how you like it.

I've been eating tons of fresh Venison the last two weeks. Man, what a difference in energy and mood I get in comparison to store bought beef.

I've been adding fresh shiitake's, maitake's and baby potabella's to put on top of the venison. Pretty earthy! lol!

I lived in Seattle for five years, I used pick this one kind of mushroom off my front lawn. Oh, that was very fun!

Oregon is great state. I am camped, hiked and traveled all over that state. I think the last place I went to (Besides Portland) was Terwilliger Hot Springs. Pretty fun. A friend of mine and I were camping near by and was told about the springs. So we decided to go spend the day there. Around noon, about 30 young girls show up on their senor skip day loaded with fun. Ahhhh, I was much younger then!

Back to food talk!
