What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

yeah im trying to figure out how to make that perfect shredded chicken in the slow cooker, my ex's mom used to make it perfect

I have an Instant Crock Pot. When I slow cook chicken breast (8hrs) it shreds super easy right out of the pot. Actually it falls apart, which is perfect if you wanna shred all of it. I also cook them in chicken or bone broth. Chicken broth is way cheaper, but bone broth is all protein. It's kinda expensive and really doesn't make them taste any better imo.

I add the broth first, then whatever seasoning next. Mix it up good then I add the chicken.

I'm no chef and I don't stay at Holiday Inn when I travel. B-)

Steak, eggs, taters, and bread. With a bowl of chili?
baked beans. Total lack of flavor in them. Slight molasses but nothing to compliment it like pork chunks or something. It's a local spot that we tried for the first time. Very price friendly at 10$ for the plate. Good coffee

You should look into making your own bone broth in the instant pot. There are a couple recipes I've seen online, fast and cheap

Just asked her and it reminder her to cook more! She said 4 hours, 5 lbs chicken breast, one taco seasoning packet, shred the chicken, add another packet of taco seasoning, then mix in about half of the chicken broth it creates to the final product. Comes out perfect brother!

$1.76/lb for chicken breast is a really good price.

Where do you get your Kimchi?

Yeah it is. Get chicken breast and Kimchi at Winco. Do all my shopping at Winco actually. Always seem to have the most consistent lowest prices. Kimchi is spendy though I think it’s like $5 for a jar and I go through about two jars per week.

No doubt! Put it on everything brother! Lol

I can't find any decent deals on it. You can find guys selling like 100 packets on Ebay but they want too much for them. A bottle is tiny and still too expensive at the grocery for what you get. Don't see why they don't bring it to a more "wholesale" style market like Srirach, Tobasco, and others have. You can find it so much cheaper in gallon bulk. Maybe I just need to order a single taco grab a giant handful on the way out. Wouldn't touch the taco but might be worth the packets.

Really? They are over just a buck a bottle where I live. I go through about two bottles per week. $3/week for amazing calorie free flavor to your meals.

for me I just did my second and last meal of the day right now.

potatoes with chicken (with black pepper, olive oil and salt) at oven for 30 minuts. Quantities about 500 of potatoes and 300 of chicken.

right now I am with the dessert of that meal, coconut & belgian chocolate Ice Cream. Probably the entire 480ml thing.

Huge calorie intake but my body gets that digestion well. This is for pleasure.

Question for all you foodies: what do you all eat to fill yourselves up on healthy fats? I have to limit my carbs, so it’s healthy fats for my energy.

Can’t or won't be eating fatty fish all the time and avocados on a regular basis are not going to happen.
