What's Everyones Preferred BP lowering Medication?

With the warmer months beginning to come in and getting back into Medium sized cycles again I've realised that keeping a Blood pressure of 125 / 80 or below just isn't possible any more. Consistently being above 130 is going to start causing heart and kidney problems long term so I am very interested to hear of what you guys run as I often see members mentioning Telmisartan etc in the forums. I found some old Bisoprolol beta blockers yesterday from a few years back and only took 2.5mg and it knocked a good 20 mmHg off the top and around 10 off the bottom all day. It made me feel drastically different.

Do BP meds alter Liver ALT / AST numbers much also?

I’m interested in this thread. Currently even on cycle my BP stays at 115/60 as an average. But this won’t last forever.

Mine stayed fairly good at first, but as the years go on it seems to increase. Then throw in nasties like DBol, Tren and Big test and you are fighting a losing battle lol.
115/60 is insanely good!! Whats your HR?

Resting heart rate is typically between 50-55. That’s when I’m laying on my bed for a while and checking it all. I’m on the Tren now and it’s saying low, I don’t do orals as they all (except Tbol) give me headaches and Anavar wrecks my digestive system.

How old are you? I’m 34 now. As said, this won’t last forever so I need to be ready.

for my cardiomyopathy i was prescribed "entresto" mid of last year.
I am not sure it is the best one, but i am pretty sure it is one of the strongest ones.
I should "aim" for the highest dosage 108/96mg twice a day.
Well, i can not even get over 26/24 once a day without pushing my BP below 100/60 where i feel like utter shit.

Generalizations aside, a history of cardiomyopathy exemplifies why HTN management is best individualized based upon a patients BP and risk factors for end organ (cardiac, renal, CNS, etc) damage.

Those interested in up to date evidence based info I suggest the 2020 AHA guidelines, which are readily available on line.

just as an add-on:
my cardioyopathy (called non-compaction cardiomyopathy, something pretty rare) was not contributed to HTN but is a genetic condition where some parts of the heart do not envolve correctly in embryonal stadium.
All my medication is not used to correct HTN. But as you probably know, lowering blood pressure is a "side effect" of each and everyone of those heart medications
