What’s the point in taking DNP?

If it only increases appetite and cravings while simultaneously suffering night sweats? And it’s not like you see physical changes while taking it.

The worst part is that it makes you look flat and skinny. Staying full while cutting is more optimal and you look much better.

Because it’s the only real diet pill on the market? You absolutely see changes while taking it. Who told you it increased hunger and cravings? And no, not night sweats. Sweats all the time for most people.

if you know what you’re doing and pair it with a competent diet and cardio DNP will strip fat off like absolutely no other drug on the planet.

But I'll just add a tidbit that @Eman taught me.

The insulin sensitivity bounce back after even a short and moderate cycle is fucking crazy.

I immediately PRd bench and squat after my short 100mg ED DNP run
DNP is being investigated as a Cure/Treatment for type 2 diabetes, as such it could possibly be a valuable tool in a bodybuilders arsenal, especially with all the GH usage.

Sure, you're going to look flat during your run, but a solid carb load and diet after the run, and you'll be looking nice and full within a week after discontinuing DNP

I might also mention that my total weight PRs were at 225 lbs, (Weight after DNP) I uplifted my previous 240lb totals

I can agree that some of the guys running 500mg etc, seems a little bit crazy to me, but I feel like DNP has more use than just s fat burner

Threads like this always amuse me. Unfortunately, they're in short supply these days as the information quality has improved :)

People take DNP to lose fat. It's, factually, the strongest thermogenic on the market and has been for nearly 100 years. 200mg per day, low dose with minimal sides, gives you better results than every single other fat loss drug ever made.

Not being willing to look less than optimal while working towards your goals will set you up for a lifetime of physique disappointments.

If you want to stay shredded while bulking, good luck.

If you want to stay huge and full while cutting, good luck.

This is regardless of DNP, sometimes you can't look your best while you're working towards looking your best. It's a small sacrifice to make in the journey... Same goes for getting stronger, you're not going to lift PR's everyday if you want to set big PR's. Progression isn't linear over time.

It absolutely does increase your appetite. On 500mg I was waking up in sweats having dreams of pizza. It’s almost a requirement to have sibutramine on hand

Sounds like it increases *your* appetite, not my appetite. Never had any such issue with it, don’t remember that being something common either. If you need drugs to control hunger I dunno what to say.

I’ll add that DNP is in my experience overused and a crutch for a lot of people who won’t commit to dieting and cardio to reach their weight loss goal. However, if you have those two things locked down it’s as close to magic as drugs come.

Do you think it’s often overdosed? Should 100mg-200mg ED be enough to accelerate results?

What were your results on 100mg ED? Any sides?

Do you think it can be utilized well for a 2-3 week mini cut during bulking cycles?

I much prefer low dose dnp cycle. Pretty much feel completely normal and then during workouts get a good sweat and slight night sweats. Unlike higher dose where ur sitting outside naked in 30 degrees sweating ur ass off. Low dose for the win!

3 weeks
100mg ED
down 15 lbs.

But a lot of that was diet
I ate at a 800 calorie deficit while heavily increasing protein ans decreasing carbs.
(Zero sugar, other than OJ when I felt hypo)

As for sides, a little warmer, some.minor carb cravings, but you could chalk that up to me being in a deficit and my.typical carb intake.

The bounceback was great as well

Wow. What were your workouts like? Any cardio?

It should ABSOLUTELY be low dose and only increased once acclimated. But dosing is relative to weight. I don’t think I’ve gone over 2.5mg/kg. I only used it to have the experience both for myself as a tool later on and for clients. Haven’t used it since. It is 100% overused when it is in my opinion. It’s a crutch for a lot of people, including some IFBB pros when they cheat.

I was absolutely warmer but my lifts and cardio didn’t suffer too badly. Like most drugs it’s drama free when used and not abused.

I never understood using it for a cheat day as the drug takes a week before it starts taking full effect
