when to take ur proteins, and carbs

what times during the day would take a protein shake, and when would u stop taking it so it doesn't absorb as fat, same with carbs, but carbs from food not shakes or replacements..
 
Protein and carbs dont get absorbed as fat. They get absorbed as amino acids and glucose. They only become fat if you take in more calories than you burn.

As for the timing, just eat meals and if you need to use shakes to bring up your protein and calorie intake, use them post-workout and in between regular meals.
