Who is our biggest, most shredded member at Meso?

Hey big rut how you feeling on this prep? You’re looking good brother.

I really appreciate it brother! I’m around 228-229 in the morning, and 234 at night. I feel like I need to get down to about 220-222 in the mornings. Maybe weigh in at 226 with a gut full of water. Piss everything out that night and be super dry at pre judging as a super heavyweight.

I’m feeling like total shit during the day, but I’m having great workouts and my strength hasn’t went down any. Keeping everything as heavy as possible, with 6-10 reps on most body parts except arms and shoulders.

I’m doing a mini peak week trial this week to see how I’ll possibly look and weigh come show week.

Started Monday lowering my carbs a little and upping my water to 2 gallons per day. Weighed 229 on Sunday morning. As of this morning I’m down to 225.4. Everything’s beginning to dry out. I dropped my carbs back even more today, and will start carbing back up Thursday and into Friday. Drop my water out sometime Friday afternoon.

I should have a good idea where I️ stand come Saturday morning. and what changes I need to make the next 6 weeks.

I really think at 220-222 you’d be good.. but at week 6 and you’re doing this trial I would consider taking advantage of what your body will feel like a reboundz I would eat and adjust however you would.
And then try to come in around 215 just to really take it to another level conditioning and kill heavyweight.. just a thought!

But regardless it’s working! Keep posting them

I haven’t really thought about it that way. That’s def something to consider. I appreciate the advice! I’ve never been in this condition this far out, so this is new to me, lol. I’ve actually been looking around for shows to jump in the next few weeks, but they’re all 6 hours away, I’m just not willing to go that far. I’ll just rock on for 7 more weeks and get it right for this one.

The NPC Eastern Seaboard is on 5/12 bro. It's a pretty good sized show and a qualifier. It's not around the corner but it is less than 2 hours.

I’ve looked at it... I’ve also been told not to plan on winning it due to the promoters politics. It’d cost me $400 for the weekend. Knowing that I won’t be judged fairly turns me off from spending the money and the time. I’ve looked at going to tunica on May 12th. I’m a basket case right now, so I don’t know what the hell I’m gonna do, lol.

Here’s my updates for you guys.
@fodsod you may be pleased with these.
Still need to drop a bit more and straighten the other I feel, tighter and pull the air in better to my rib cage and a bit more of a twist. (Keep in mind I try to hit the side chest a little more classical and upright than the traditional turned and (wider) look. But I will also try the more turned and open next Sunday for you to show that.

@rutman If I was you I would really consider it! But then again, fuck what my opinion is and do what you thinks best brother. But I just feel like you dropping into that division would clearly make you at the TOP of that class and not so much the lower end of the other. Plus.. imagine the difference in conditioning that 7-8lbs can make. Jaw dropping! Keep us posted, post some updates today or tomorrow brother.

@size26s got any mandatory recent pics?

Looking on point brother! Except for those pink socks....[emoji15]

Did you mean dropping into the heavyweight class and lean out a little more or going in as a lean super heavyweight? I’m def in the middle and could do either one.

Just got my body fat tested by the water tank method. Says that I’m 5.1%, which I believe is pretty accurate. I weighed 225.6.

Fuck it.... here’s a pic from yesterday. If someone doesn’t like it, fuck off.

The side chest you just liked was recent but no.

Killer muscle separation you guys. You are absolute beasts in here!

A quick question for everyone, how many years of dedicated training along side AAS do you think you needed to compete in heavyweight? Not necessarily win but compete that first year without getting laughed off stage.

Endless variables. Height, starting weight, age, then of course genetics.

If your goal is simply to get off stage and not get laughed at? Probably'll take a long time with that little motivation. The harder you want it, the harder you work.

I was on stage last year as a heavyweight with a 21 year old kid... He has unlimited genetic potential. Like @Evom1 said, genetics play a big part, but so does nutrition and training. The main thing is to be shredded. Doesn’t matter if you’re a light weight or super heavyweight. Condition beats size almost every time.

Anybody else with tapatalk not able to see pics anymore? Really wanted to see how jay, rut and size26 are coming along as they approach competition
