I can tell you now there is a God my friend. In a nut shell, I couldn't change my life or beat my addictions on my own. Prison, homeless, you name it. It wasent till I cried one one and prayed to him and asked for help and then the change slowly came. Now 31/2 years later my life I'd better then it ever was and more then I can ever imagine. The thread title is saying while there exists some evidence to say God may not exist, it really falls short, it could also (indirectly) dictate some sort of logic (or partial logic), in saying that there are indeed multiple "Gods".

That's the point BBC3, and I believe that your method of "debunking with logic" is very similar to mine. If people can't use logic, then their insight for the said argument is going to diminish. HINT : "No real application of ideas, no understandable deductions to be made".

In many cases these were not the case, but some other previously unmentioned genetic predisposition may have existed along with unhealthy lifestyles. It's not necessary to understand these people in order to understand their acts. They do what they do because their religion demands it. Because these "punishments" are foreign to us, we think those who carry them out must be sub-human savages without feeling or conscience or remorse. They are none of those things. It's not necessary to understand these people in order to understand their acts. They do what they do because their religion demands it. Because these "punishments" are foreign to us, we think those who carry them out must be sub-human savages without feeling or conscience or remorse. They are none of those things. They are human just like us. However, they have been indoctrinated in a violent cult/religion that uses extreme fear of eternal damnation to achieve the total obedience and submission from its followers.

BTW, stoning is commonly used as a punishment for adultery in Islam so I suspect that might have been the reason.

However, you still sound unconvinced about extremism. You are searching for a moral equivalence that cannot be found in ANY civilized society outside of religion.

I have no problem judging the people in that video and the religion they follow. No problem whatsoever. If that makes me evil, so be it.

Oh how I love the topic of Spiders. The answer is this BBC3 - many spiders crawl "across your flesh", and you don't know it. They simply think you are some new terrain, and have no intention to bite you, in fact, most of the "spider bites" people have can be attributed to other insects.

Fear is indeed a pitiful and almost useless emotion in almost every "common urban" "situation"...​

...and it is this - FEAR, that holds us back, from Knowledge, from Understanding.
For if we did not fear, or at least did research to counteract fear (even some basic principles of life, and of insect life would tell us through logic spiders are harmless), then we would not have the spontaneous desire to go after spiders.

If spiders sense FEAR from you, they begin to run, and especially being you are a "creature" that causes an extreme earthquake every time you take a step, and cause a windstorm every time you move a finger or a toe. Spiders have to adapt to this, and no matter what kind of "natural Cleats" these creatures have, it still sends shockwaves through their nervous systems. For all they know, we are coming to eat them, or, as expected and happens, step on them.

It is natural for them to be scared, as most of us would be scared of a tyrannosaurus staring at us - is the equivalent of what they would feel like if their nervous system was comprised of an even remotely similar "analytical wiring" to us. Fortunately, they still move and pay mind to their next "insect prey". We are NOT their prey. They choose to live in harmony with us, it's only when they are confined in a small space and being pressured, that it is a reactive reflex that they may bite, and even then, and from my experience, they are more likely to run, than to bite.
