The best pathway to de-scheduling Testosterone has always been via the Trans hormone therapy route. In fact there are D senators, Warren and Markey, that are already out loud with their desire to see Testosterone de-scheduled for that purpose. However, as Rs have taken a position that is clearly not pro Trans, its hard to see a situation where a R house and senate pass a bill that is seen as easing the pathway to Trans therapy.

Agreed with Freddymac, it’s incredibly unlikely that things get deregulated unless it’s for trans.

RFK is a bit of a conundrum because he wants to stop companies and pharma from being able to push drugs/chemicals without a lot of studies, but also wants to open up the market to peptides and health clinic treatments. By their nature, those views cannot be compatible, so one has to win. My guess is it will be the former, and if anything it’ll become harder.

As long as big pharma is lobbying 90% of the government, nobody will decriminalize anything. When drugs do get decriminalized or legalized, you end up paying 3x the price in taxes just like marijuana on the west coast.

You already see the ruckus going on because people found a way to avoid paying $1200 a month for semaglutide through big pharma. You think they'll give up the millions they make by ripping people off? I worked in pharmacy for many years compounding drugs. That test vial that cost $20 to make is going for $400 out of pocket for some folks because it's "legal" and has an FDA stamp of approval.

I like how RJK isn't afraid to call out big pharma for their bullshit, but everyone has a price tag. Give it 2 years and he'll be slowly changing his tune towards the direction of their donors.

I think politics is getting in they way of the discussion... somehow these days, political discussion deteriorates into personal attacks.
I don't know how bad his neurocysticercosis was, but if he really had a self resolving one, then he would probably end up having early onset dementia or some other neurological deficit. He will also have memory issues. Any of these issues make him unreliable. The way the incoming admin is also promising everyone everything.. from staunch conservatives to iconoclasts, there's bound to be a lot of promises with little wins particularly for things not involving big finance. Dude wants to tackle chronic illness, big pharma, FDA and food industry, in an admin promising deregulation.. all within 4 years. He has as much odds to suceed as a one legged man in arse kicking contest. Who knows? He may just get in one or 2 good dropkicks... I just hope he doesn't get in the way of our UGL peptides.
