Tomorrow I appear in court for the first time for a serious case! I am working under the State Attorney General and the DA in my specific area. This was my first case to go to court. Although I wont be doing any questioning, etc., it will be my first actual appearance in court as a law student! I am SO NERVOUS!

Well, I did all the gopher work (copies, statements, etc.)

NOTE: THIS IS AS FAR AS I AM LEGALLY ALLOWED TO SAY IN THE CASE. DO NOT ASK SPECIFICS.

I am working on a homicide. The alleged criminal killed his wife in a jealous rage. I am involved because I work for the State Attorney General's office and I visited the alleged murder in prison to get statements. Basically bitch-work, but I am involved in the case.

I am going to the case with a representative from the DA's office in order to get "in court" experience.

Imagine you were able to be trained by JS himself and this was your first powerlifting meet! Oh the butterflies!

P.S. I get to wear my Armani suit for the first time. It was a gift from my father for getting into law school. Considering this maybe the only case I am involved in before he dies, it means a hell of a lot. Also, for those who are believers like me, please include my father in your prayers. Thanks guys!
