My little brother pulled in $60 ,000 gross last year, in his second year of trucking... No, only companies that utilize linehaul could ever hope to get fully automated. FedEx was the first one to deliver freight on an autonomous truck. Works for them because their just routine shipments. It costs far too much money for the average company to do it. And btw no truck is ever without a captain. Just like a train has a conductor and a plane has a pilot. Always need a skilled operator at the ready.

My job isnt going anywhere. Probably the safest job wise. Same as healthcare professionals and mechanics. Everyone will need them all the time. If anything it will likely RAISE our incomes
