Sometimes your word and name hold more weight when you abide by the Meso rules. Once you're bought out by a lab for a review, you're fuked. Better to pay for goods than be bought for a review

I think becoming a WKM is way too easy....I became WKM within a month of joining. Why? Because i made a bunch of sarcastic comments and posted meme's that people apparently liked...thruthfully, yes, ive been doing this for years but started taking it serious in terms of "harm reduction" within the last year...i have alot to learn and try to help when I trully believe I am...but honestly, I read some posts from guys on here and I dont know jack shit compared to them...
Awhile back I talked about estro in the thread and asin...which opened the floodgates to junior members pming me about the topic as if I had all the answers, subsequently i turned PM off....
I have seen guys on here make WKM in a week or so.....new UGLs come through and get some "help" from a WKM in promoting their product...of course they are going to jump on it....its their livelihood afterall. Some sources have exposed these guys only after learning thats not how Meso rolls. Was it for show to say "hey look Meso, i abid by the rules, you can trust me" absolutely....but guarantee there are dozens if not hundreds that go unheard of.....
I feel that a change to needs to be at least considered on this award status....also, after reading what i just wrote now, I respectfully ask to be moved to Member so that i can hang out with @Ickyrica

Members deservedly like to be rewarded and recognized for their contributions. The status awards are an attempt to do that but reflect a flawed system. It would be great if MESO had an algorithm that could recognize quality contributions. But it doesn't. As such, the status titles are largely meaningless.
Obviously, the current status titles are being abused to manipulate sources. This is one harm. But their are others too such as newbies relying solely on status to determine expertise and quality of advice.
Given this, is NO status title system better than a flawed one?
