Well, yesterday was a mixed bag of emotions and results...
@Darius PharmacomStore 's injectable anadrol is no joke. Placebo effect or not, I hit a new PR and felt great. I had 235 for 16 clean reps yesterday. To be honest, I expected to hit about 10 reps based on how under the weather I felt. I did burn out quickly, it was about a 45 minute workout, maybe a little more... But, I've gotta say, breaking a record feels great.
Working out with a head cold and fresh tattoo was sort of lame. I kept trying to not touch anything with my arm, and it really made certain movements impossible. No excuses, just had to adapt.
Flat bench- 8 sets of 235, varied between 8 and 14 reps, 16 for the second set somehow.
Seated machine flys (sue me, I didn't want to use DB's)- Lee Priest pyramid-12, 10, 8, 6, 3
Incline Press- 10, 6, 6 DS -> 10
Wide Press- 15,12,10,8
That's it, unfortunately. I was burnt, not my most impressive day. It certainly didn't help the whole time my lifting partner (girlfriend in this case) was unenthusiastic beyond belief.... Oh well, at least the anadrol was gangster.
