Yesterday was a rest day. I SERIOUSLY needed it, legs on sunday MURDERED me, and I've been fairly sick with some sort of cold or allergies. So, I rested up and refueled. Feeling pretty solid today, so I think it will be chest day today. For the first time in a long time, my chest was sore for 6 days after my most recent chest workout, not sure why, or if that's good or bad (any insight on soreness -> hypertrophy would be appreciated @Docd187123 I'm sure you'll have some info!)

After not being sore for a few days, my chest looks very, very full and I think it's time to hit it again. Please throw in some of your favorite workouts/suggestions!

Gear update- still feeling happy with the gear, smooth and PIP free. I love the pinning schedule of long esters. I feel very strong, hungry and aggressive lately. Libido is at 110%.

This is sort of a lame/uninspired update. They're much better when I'm amped up about my previous workout. So, to help ease your boredom, I have provided visual aid.

Ladies and gentlemen-

Unfortunately I don't have a whole lot to report. Deca and EQ is so boring compared to a tren cycle. I get bigger, sure, but nothing is like the constant changes you see every morning from tren.

Tren and I have a weird relationship. A few weeks on it, I am looking forward to being off. A few weeks off, I think about how I could fit tren into my current cycle. Unfortunately, it has no place in a mass building cycle for me, as it kills my appetite. Also, I think my mg's/week are about as high as I'd like to go (1G test, 1G EQ & 1G Deca) :rolleyes:

But, I may remove the deca sooner than planned, as I have 20ml's of sexy tren E that is just begging for me to use.

How long do you guys normally run your deca? 16 weeks? 20 weeks? @Big_paul @brutus79 @Docd187123

I've only used low dose deca to help with joints while training. I ran it from beginning of December, maybe late November, to end of March.

Soreness/DOMS doesn't necessarily mean growth. It does mean that you were not adapted to whatever you did. Think of it like a new stressor. Eccentrics are what normally cause DOMS so my question is, did you do the same exact workout with the same exercise selection? Did you use more weight? Did you slow your tempo up?

I definitely changed it a bit, the issue is, I change it frequently. I rarely do the exact carbon copy of the previous workout...

You can change a workout up and have it produce very similar stimulus or you can switch it up and have a totally different stimulus. You're probably doing the former usually and did the latter this time.

Still feeling a little sick, sometimes working in an office full of people with germ infested offspring is unfortunate. Plugged nose, sore throat, insomnia and a constant feeling of being hot = not KILLING it in the gym. But, I'm still attending, so there's that.

Arms-

I have to tell you guys, I was preparing my girl the whole ride to the gym that the motivation was 100% on her. I was feeling weak, demotivated and deflated. I have severe dysmorphia when it comes to my arms, as my bi's are slow to develop compared to all other groups (this is actually finally changing, by the way). I develop a little bit of anxiety before an arm workout sometimes, because I feel like I need to give it 110% to have them keep up, being sick doesn't help.

I walked in, grabbed a straight bar and a warmup set of just 60lbs x 20 felt like shit, no pump whatsoever. Man, I wasn't thrilled. But fuck it, right? I went there to make something happen. Raining Blood came on for the musical selection, and I knew what had to be done. Pump or not, rain or shine, happy and healthy or not, I was there to tear muscle fibers and lift heavy ass weights. So, that's what I did.

I knew this workout wasn't going to be comfortable, more of a mental discomfort than physical. So, I chose to do the movements that MAKE me the most uncomfortable, and highlight them.

Triceps warmup- really digging this 100 rep warmup that CT Fletcher uses. 100 reps, 10 sets of 10, random weight (much easier with a partner, as I don't even look at the weight, I just move it). I chose to do standard straight bar triceps press this time. What a good idea that was! My tri's were POPPING yesterday, morale increased by 200% the moment I saw those fuckers hanging out of my t-shirt, all swollen and sexy.

Standing Cable Curls- Normally I like free weights for bi's, so it's time to do things I DON'T like. I grabbed the EZ Bar attachment, 1 set of 12 wide, 8 narrow. Followed by a set of 12 narrow, 8 wide. I did 5 sets total. That'll really warmup your bi's. I know the bicep's muscle fibers more or less all run the same way, but hitting it from different angles really seems to help them grow/engage.

1 arm rope pull downs/cross body- I like to start my hand by the opposing side's collar bone, slowly move it down towards the hip bone and past like a kickback. This really engages my complete tricep, I love this workout. it's also humbling, 25 lb's feels pretty considerable here.

Concentration curls- simple as that, nothing unusual, classic CC's.

Single arm DB preacher curls- After the CC's, my bi's were pumped and full of blood, this felt like the ideal time to hit a weaker/isolated movement. I was right, the pump was insane (today's soreness is equally as insane, BTW). 5 sets / arm, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6 reps.

Close-grip triceps press- I prefer to do this with the EZ bar, I see a lot of guys use the Olympic/straight bars. Too much leverage working against your balance with those, EZ gives me way better form.

Overhead rope pulls- Simple as that, no explanation needed here!

Standing "double bicep's" cable curls- If nothing else, you look really sexy when doing this movement. It's an excellent way to focus is that mind-muscle connection (along w/ single arm preachers).

Triceps kickbacks- explanation needed? No.

Zottman curls!!!- this is a new one for me, grab 20's for your first run, it's not as easy as it seems.

Behind the head triceps extensions w/ EZ bar attachment- self explanatory

Straight bar curls SS -> reverse grip curls- 10-12 reps of slow and controlled straight bar curls, followed immediately by reverse grip curls till failure! Don't be afraid to use a little body to finish up a few more reps here.

Hammer curls- and we're done!

finished with calves and hanging leg raises.

It's funny how much I learned yesterday. Walking in with a shitty attitude/feeling doesn't mean it HAS to be a shitty workout. Channel your frustration or anger or whatever the fuck has you down, use it as your ally, not your enemy.

**UPDATE**

Today is my day off of the gym, so it's time for a little update

Strength gains aren't HUGE lately, but size gains are. I am literally growing daily. When I wake up, I am changing into a different person each day. It's truly remarkable. The scale hasn't changed much at all, maybe up 3 lbs, but I honestly look 10-15 lbs bigger, it's insane. I believe the nutrient timing along with the intense training and drug protocol has been very effective this go around. I would recommend Test E, EQ and Deca to anyone looking for an almost side effect free cycle. As long as you control your e2, you'll be fine. No night sweats, aggression or any undesirable sides here.

EQ is really blossoming lately. I am hungry as hell, seriously, it doesn't end. It's becoming quite an issue. I am happy that my cravings are largely for clean food, and not junk (some compounds like tren make me crave junk). Veins are even starting the really pop on my lower abdomen, quads and calves. Endurance has gone up too, and so has my mental focus in the gym (not sure why).

Deca has been a solid compound for me since I pretty much started cycling. It was a lot of cyp and deca cycles in the past, and they always treated me well. I love the fullness you attain on deca. I don't really have a bloating issue, probably due to my diet and E2 control.

Still running exclusively Pharmacom products from Darius. As always, take my word with a grain of salt, I don't want to be PROMOTING this source, I am merely giving honest feedback.

At this time I wish I tolerated orals well, as it would be a nice mid-cycle addition. It would really bring the intensity and aggression I can sometimes lack on these mild cycles. Tren makes me ultra aggressive, and so do most orals. Oh well. I am going to try some TNE/Injectable Drol from PCT shop, I will let you guys know how that goes.
