The floater is hard and brittle. So brittle in fact it comes apart with very little pressure.

I also ran my microscope over the stopper. To see if there was a indention or marking on it. Because this flake was pretty good size. There should a indention from where it came off the stopper.

Unless it was a piece of the chaffing.
I sell a ton of plastic, rubber, resin items and out of 1000 units there is always one that is defective.
Cleaning should have caught it but just giving ideas.

This was a good size flake. So the properties should be like the stopper. So a Flake that size will have a tear off mark on the stopper.

So the conclusion, under the micro scope there was no tear off marks on the stopper. The floater did not match the stopper in color. Will have a pic of that as soon as i download it.

I don't know. Tao you missed my science experiment last night. This may help PEP to figure out how the floater came to be.
