You pinned the wrong area scuba steve. I have gotten plenty of those kinda swell ups, when I pinned the wrong area with high pip gear like supercuts, but in other places it would just be pip no heat and tenderness.

Bro that's where I've always poked, the way the redness spread and the heat was giving off, after having mrsa was enough to convince me to go to e.r the dr said it's an infection, but to watch it bc if it spreads after taking antibiotics, I'll be admitted... I'm done I just want to lay off this any gear for a while...after my elbow and now this, my body is telling me something

I'm thinking they called it an infection to be safe. Just seems to early to me to be an infection (unless there was a tremendously high amount of bacteria in that particular draw). Weird that there wasn't an issue with the previous 2 pins. I'm just using bro science here though.
I keep bird biotic on hand just in case. Bird biotic is Doxycline which from my research, works wonders on MRSA also. It's a pretty decent soft tissue antibiotic.

I had an infection a few years ago and the doctor lanced it and then squeezed the fluid out. Very painful. Just a general question, dont most intermuscular infections needed to be drained then treated with antibiotics?

I inject every time the same way, after I get out shower new needle to draw new needle to pin and.alcohol swab

I dont know about poor injection technique I blamed it upon being 23 desperate and ignorant and injecting test500 that I got from Mexico. Stupid

Wouldnt the skin like outter of my epidermis be infected like a visible thing bcuz there isn't. This is inside my body. But either it me or the gear, but I'm clean w it. But everyone has an opinion
Did you swab the top of the vial? If not, its a good habit to get into, dont just swab injection site.
