@BB69 - I would appreciate if you could talk to Kane about posting your conversation. I feel it would be best to have it displayed for everyone to see. I still hold my concerns of PEP and will not be ordering from him anytime soon. I thank you for your reply and you post a number of legitimate points.
I shot the pm to you. I all for digging but I really don't believe there's some complex scheme involving pep and a group of vets. I really believe it started with kane and the intro and then the continued attempt to keep whatever momentum there was/is going.
Did you see where Stretch and I posted that we didn't believe there wasn't at least an agreement between kane and pep about how the intro would hopefully prop pep up .
Kane hangs out on Mike Strongs VIP board and at basskillers WCBB(1 or 2 others also) Both Mike and bass are respected vets and long time board owners that don't operate like promuscle, OLM and IM.
I was a little surprised when that I hadn't heard that kane was over at TID, 1 of the 4 boards I'm loyal to and check in at daily. mugzy owns that board. I was also surprised when I read where one of the mods there banned kane. There was some confusion among a couple of the staff as to whether they banned kane was the kane from Mike Strongs vip board. The mod that handed out the banning said that it was without question kane from vipboard and that he was banned for being an a hole I believe is the word he used when given hulk bad time. The hulk in question is a source and after being warned for some reason anout how kane went at hulk or something he was banned. It was clear to me that it had nothing to do with pushing any source rather he was going to far one to many times for the mods liking and was banned.
I think it was the hulk that had produced counterfeit rips and was passing them off as legit. Hulk actually owned up to this but felt it was ok as some really liked his version of rips.
The mod that banned kane would also jump at the opportunity to whack me and send me into exile. I admittedly have gone too far at times at tid and this mod has made it clear he is not a fan of mine.
I had gone to far in a verbal assault on someone and the mod made a post suggesting with a disgusted tone that I head over to "meso and pick on some noobs."
I hadn't been aware of his dislike for me and assured him that I was not the guy that stole his lunch money all those years ago.
I was baiting him and probably shouldn't have made the schoolyard bully remark but I felt that he had came out of nowhere to make the meso comment in a discussion that had nothing to do with him....other than the fact that is a respected mod at TID and has the authority.
He is very good and I believe that he and I both have good intentions and care very much for the boards we're a part of and the community as a whole. He may read this and be upset with me....he lurks!!
I'm not special and don't enjoy longer rope to push acceptable behavior but I shouldn't have a shorter leash with a choke collar, either. He's reprimanded me on more than one occasion publically and has not only edited a post I've made but has also delete at least one based on his feeling it was useless and contributed nothing to the thread I posted in or something. I'd like to not have a target on my back while posting there.
As usual I'm off topic and the new topic is me. My point with kane being banned from tid could've happed just as easily to me and had nothing to do with the questions Alaska and anyone else may have with him.
It's got to look like I'm going pretty far with you kane and with whats going on with pep on the surface and with what some think is going on beneath it. I sincerely am spending the time to express my beliefs that there really isn't and mean no disrespect.
