Lucky is upset and is for a few different reasons. I will say he contacted me last night when he first came across the vial in question. He wanted to talk about it. Lucky didn't ask for my opinion or advice but I spoke on what I thought he should do and what I thought he had to do.
The thing I can't speak to and won't is how the man feels. He is entitled to his feelings. Every customer is. When we're talking about something that we introduce into our bodies people have the tendency to have feelings that are much more personal in nature. How couldn't we?
Lucky's reaction tells me his feelings. He feels betrayed. He feels like he was let down. I'm getting to know lucky. He's passionate about certain things. The gear he puts into his body is one of them. The company and the man that is the company he has chosen to put his personal stamp of approval on has disappointed him and has done so in an area that he has a difficult time accepting anything but complete perfection in. What he and his friends here put into their bodies must be clean and steril and there isn't a reason or excuse that will make anything but perfection acceptable. That's just the way it is.
Lucky has friends here. He feels as if he let some folks down. He has people he's never spoken to that look to him and his posts as a tool to help them decide where to spend their money. He feels he let them down.
Now, is lucky's insistence of perfection completely realistic? Of course not. We're dealing with ugl's. Can we insist that the ugl's we have here strive to constantly improve in the area of sterility and cleanliness? You're damn right we can and will.
Now concerning pep. Do I believe pep is concerned about the well being of members here beyond reasons that involve getting our money? Yes, I honestly believe this man takes pride in what he does. I believe the man has pride and it's my believe his pride is healthy and helpful to how he operates. Do I believe peps reaction to an emotional and angry customer that he considers more than a customer after these weeks of posting and talking getting to know him? I do. I actually felt good about peps reaction. To be fair he could only be a sounding board to an upset lucky but couldn't give the emotional lucky time to calm down. He needed to address the situstion. He had to speak on it. Pep is exhausted and frustrated. The volume he's doing is unlike any he has seen before. He couldn't possibly have been prepared. I believe he is going to look at how he can implement some way to improve and ccheck to esdure the chances of this happening again are diminished if possible. He'll adjust to the volume.
At some point soon if he's the smart man I believe him to be he will take himself off the radar. My big thing. Staying out of cuffs. Lucky's thing is safety as far as clean product. We have other guys grilling these sources.
Lucky is fairly new to this. I advised him to pm pep giving him a heads up about what was going to happen with his post. Lucky is his own man but I wasn't going to not let him come out with what he found. He wouldn't feel right if he didn't. I told him he had an obligation. There isn't anything pep could realistically say or do to make things better. Will I tell lucky that I believe he getting back behind pep as an ardent and fervent supporter ok and actually the right thing to do if he decides to? Yes. I actually believe it to be the right thing to do because I see a sincere reaction and I see a man wanting to improve. I do. We all can take something away from this and grow. Pep is small enough that he can take from this and make it a positive experience. Once lucky takes this all in I believe he will make an informed decision and see through his emotions. Those emotions are important, though. They make lucky the popular member, good friend and the honest guy you want on your team and if at all possible because of that emotion, honesty and intelligence you do not want as an enemy.
Pep shares similar qualities. I predict the 2 men after a short time have a new found level of respect for each other as well as that friendship that is difficult to have being in the position each man is in will take the positive out of this difficult situation and it will mend and actually become stronger. I like both you guys. Pep is gonna be ok and get through this.

Well said Ben, well said.

im gonna put out there I feel he is overreacting just a bit. he was offered replacement gear. he put it on the forum to "save" us all- at least those too stupid to check for floaters. what else do you want?

he didnt fuck your mother and even if he did you would be reacting harshly even for that.

biggest supporter? you sound like a justin beiber groupie... how much is he supposed to give a fuck about you? you want a fucking blow job? its the stopper unless he gets off on inserting random blood clots into bottles.

nothing like a cistomer who thinks a mistake buys them the world. i'm done ranting.

I appreciate your inout Ben as we all value your opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I feel horrible that this happened. Is there any excuse, no. Is there a logical reason why this could have happened outside of me have unsafe prsctices in the way I prepare things yes. I never claimed it was a piece of the stopper. I know its a foreign object. Im not happy about it and have already taken additional steps to ensure my supplies continue to be of the highest quality possible.

Lucky IS entitled to post exactly how he has and to feel exactly how he feels. If I could change any of that I would. Every UGL goes through growing pains and this is one step I will learn from and use to improve my product and business for all those who continue to put their fath in me. I haven't taken this situation lightly and havent attacked lucky nor will I ever do that. He is justifiably upset and obviously hurt, to be honest I take that to heart and its weighed heavy on me.

I wont stop doing what I do and I'll continue to take each step in stride and strive to make improvements everywhere possible. This, in the long run will help me and you guys as customers because I wont say "oh well, one unhappy guy, life goes on business as usual". I respect lucky and his opinion. I've always said any honest post is a good post. No one is perfect and you mustbtake the bad and grow from it or you will fail! I don't accept failure as an option and whole heartedlywish I could magically fix this. I can't, but as I said I will take this and make adjustments to continue to improve my products and service.

The reason im here is because posts like lucky's can't be deleted. And everyone sees if the supplier will do the right thing or be a dick and bash the client. I hope you guys know and will see which road I willmalways choose.

Please accept my sincerest apology lucky and know I actually appreciate you bringing this to our attention. I will do my best to ensure I take every additional step possible to continue providing the best products I possibly can.

I'm not trying to downplay lucky's situation at all, but you all need to look into what's called an AQL%. It's the inevitable failure rate. You try to keep it as low as possible, but it's there all the same. Many medical products will have their AQL% guidelines on their packaging. Smart companies keep a low AQL, analyzing their actual numbers regularly to make sure their meeting their goals. They'll also do a failure mode effects analysis which is basically a worst case scenario list based around their failure rate.

The acceptable failure rate for medical devices is 1.5% for invasive devices according to FDA guidelines. So, if PEP is being honest about his record, which I don't yet have a reason to believe that he's not, he's kicking the shit out of a 1.5% failure rate (1.5 bottles in every 1000).

Here's some interesting reading regarding the failure rates of another little lab named Phizer regarding visual inspection of injectables.

http://www.pda.org/Chapters/North-A...igm-PhD-Pfizer-Global-Quality-Operations.aspx

Notice how their unacceptable product is over 6%? That's pharma grade, lab produced "sterile" product, and it's not conforming to federal standards. Their goal is .65%. Still almost 1 in 1000.

So, basically guys, check your shit. You're the last inspector in the AAS quality control process.

PEP- that box Phizer shows in the linked PDF may make your visual inspections faster and more accurate. Maybe you could ease some minds by using something like that?

Lucky-
I dig your panic man, but it's not just UGL's. at least you're smart enough to check your shit before you pin it.

I'm sorry jets but we're going to have to see more of these "pics" for, uhh, verification purposes.. :)

I'll get some posted up for you to verify a little later today[:o)]

Yes - maybe an ass shot?

Sure:o

Is this the same chick that use to be your avatar? The one that was in the pool? With the large floatation devices?

No I wish, I found that pic on the interweb long long ago and is my avatar on all my sites I'm on!

Thays a pretty interesting read CS.
I think this was an isolated incident. Well this and Spyders filmy susbstance. Taking into account what CS and Ben said, I personally am going to stick with Pep.
This is in no way meant to diminish what Duck is saying either. Duck and I PM alot and he is my boy. I think Pep is sincere tbough intrting to fix it unlike another source who keeps blaming other people.

A little harsh, et tu bruté?

touche' my dear tao.

I get a little worked up on bottled frustration with percieved mistreatment of customers in my own business. I guess I got to say what I always wanted to, just for pep.

I have also recieved top notch treatment from pep- communication and t/a amazing... I would never have tried of bio stayed open and I was pleasantly surprised. I would still have been happy if I found a floater in a bottle. filter that shit and keep it moving.

I may have overreacted as well- knock me down a couple notches in my quest for perfect chi.

I undestand both parties here!!
When injecting things into our body
This post has over 1500 posts doesent seem to be any complaints about the gear !
Even the highest companys in the world have recalles and such.
So they go back and start over again.
im not saying start over but he did state he will go over what happend and make it rite!!
Their are eople who are ass holes and people who stand up for what they think is rite (DUCK )stood up for himself and stands tru to what he said.
I respect both parties and hope it get taken care of

Gotcha. I've received treatment from Pep similar to yours. We all handle these things differently and are all entitled to our opinions. If I help yoh with your chi:thumbup: then good!

I've been scanning all my vials with a Carson Zorb. It's a USB camera with 35X optical zoom. I shake the vial once to stir up any floaters, then run it past the camera. It takes about 3 seconds per vial. Honestly, I don't know why labs don't do something similar - or maybe they do.

I love it man - you are such a geek! Might have to buy this for xmas.
