Carb sources

Does anyone have a specific carb source that makes there muscles feel and look more full then others?

For example if I eat say 100 grams of carbs from brown rice I feel like I hold water and bloat, but if I eat the same amount in whole wheat bread my muscles will feel hard and dense. They both are complex carbs so why does my muscles feel different after eating each?
 
Some people swear by waxy maize, I think its bullshit. I never notice a difference from a complex carb source. I like oatmeal because it gives me energy longer but thats most likely in my head.
 
Pre workout low glycemic carbs: oats, sweet potatoes, lentils, whole wheat pasta.

Post workout high glycemic carbs: mashed potatoes, white rice, ripe bananas, Gatorade, Maltodextrin.
 
I'm treating myself tomorrow for being pretty good this weekend. Who the fuck am I kidding, I'd be finding excuses to eat like this everyday lol:

Preworkout: chipotle
Intraworkout: strawberry poptarts
Postworkout: 5 guys
